I was having lunch the other day with a friend who was explaining to me that trump is really a democrat plant made to splinter the GOP, make the GOP base look bad and throw the entire party into complete chaos.

I tried to rebuttal and he said look at the results.

    Mission accomplished

Here is article from the uk rather than American media outlets so we don't have people saying foxnews is biased or people complaining and bitchingg and moaning about the liberal media blah blah blah.

As a non-partisan independent I am trying to use an international outlet on purpose to avoid issues from either side

I've been saying it for months...   he throws the election for Hillary.

Why would the man who is all about money take a 7 figure pay cut to have the most stressful job in the world?

Try and read the articles and the point being made about trump's role before you flip out again and go on another weird tangent

Here is a conservative GOP view of the topic from what the national republican senatorial committee described as one of the five best read national conservative blogs and time magazine have a past award of blog of the year.

Now easy there progressives, I will also post a progressive source when I find one.  So before you start into saying I'm not a non-partisan independent and actually side with conservatives, I'm simply adding a conservative view of the topic for disucssion.

I know how crazy partisan lemmings can get

The guy is a nut, surrounded by liars. I think he means what he preaches but his plans are as infeasible as Bernie's. Really sad this pitted battle of Democrats vs Republicans, each taking a side and routing for a "team" like their life depended on it only swayed by the absolute bs that drips from these politician mouths.

I don't like Trump, he's all talk like the rest of them, just with a more inflammatory attitude. I like Bernie more because he seems more level headed, but who knows, which sh*t sandwich would you rather take a bite of?

Wikipedia has a brief history of Trump.  In the past, Trump financially supported both Democrat and Republican parties.  He once said that Hillary Clinton  would be a great President.

Welcome, but please be careful...   rational thought and common sense is frowned upon around these parts.

I just don't get people who say Trump is all talk

Hate what he says, hate his views, hate his hair, but to say he is a talker and not a doer is to say it's midnight with the high noon sun shining down

Well everyone except for one creepy psychostalker weirdo that appears to be so far over the deep end that he Fails to just engage like a normal person.

Thinking he's going to need to be bailed out After looking like such a fool.

I think the GOP logically are anyone but Hillary.  I think when Hillary takes on Bernie for vp for one term it will shift things in a way that trump taking Cruz does not.

But what do you think about the articles, specifically the conservative one considering you define yourself as such.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcrA8ehw2e4

You can't deny that Hillary has the same thing as Trump as far as tha anyone but _______.

Oh, by the way Darryl. That was the old me. I'm now a fellow non-partisan independent. All I have to do to qualify for such is just disagree with one conservative principle as you only disagree with one Liberal principle which allows you to call yourself an NPI.

I disagree with the GOP hardline stance against a pathway to Legal Status.

There....this feels awesome to be able to switch to the NPI category from now on. YAY!

Yeah I figured the usual suspects would revert to he Darryl name calling and games.

Funny that I asked for a conservative point of view concerning the conservative article and take on it and he Fails to be able to give a coherent and logical answer

You also have Sara on now posting weird nonsense for the 5th time

It's weird how the usual suspects can't just have a normal politics consecration.  This thread is a good display to the entire site

    Consecration = conversation

You know once he usual suspects get all crazy the regression to spelling/grammar correction starts up.  Usually once they start to melt down with Name calling we know what's coming next.

Anything but a civil and intelligent disucssion about the topic

This is Trump's political party history per Wikipedia.  Anybody thinking he has a stable political philosophy that he really believes in is completely clueless or comically naive.  He seeks power through whatever channel is most readily available.  He is as solid as water vapor.

    before 1987 -  DEM
    1987-1999 -    REP
    1999-2001 -    Reform - ran for President
    2001-2009 -    DEM
    2009-2011 -    REP
    2011-2012 -    IND
    2012-current - REP
