Going great. Economy still recovering. Stock market way up..Gasoline prices down. Unemployment still going down. Jobs are returning from overseas.

One war already over, and troops are still coming home from the other. Ford, GM and Chrysler still in business and sales are improving.

And Hillary is preparing for 2016

Our GDP just came out today. about a half point off of what was expected. May not sound like a lot, but the equities bubble is inflating while the underlying strength of our economy continues to weaken.

Unemployment is down, but workforce participation is at an all time low. Don't worry you will see it soon enough when there aren't enough people in the workforce to pay your SS.

Troops are coming home, I am glad that Obama followed the timetable given to him to exit Iraq dont get me wrong. I would give him a pat on the back for that one. IT would be nicer if hundreds of people weren't getting blown up there every week. People are still dying in Afghanistan (in which we are apparently just sitting there waiting to get blown up or shot), because there is no objective. WE are counting down the days until we can cede power back to the Taliban so that they can continue killing little girls for reading books.

Iran/North Korea/Syria/Egypt/ etc. are all hotbeds ready to explode under the sorry leadership we have shown. (don't worry though), when the Muslim brotherhood decides to put their fist down in Egypt they have American (obama given) fighter jets and Aid money to do so. They have already turned their largely secular govt into a a reinvigorated theocracy. So there is that.

And if you are still going to point to GM and Chrysler as a success story, you will have to aim your finger south of the border, you know, where Obama's stimulus paid to have American jobs sent in the bailout.

The government should give handouts to people who need it. And if you look across the pond and at other European Welfare States. They have been extremely successful aside from a few individual countries that have their own unique problems such as Sweden did in the very early 90s but is doing absolutely phenomenal now.. Italy suffering from an aging population, Spain the same... and others But for the most part providing handouts and social welfare programs designed to create a safety net is an excellent thing. No one is disputing that.  But what should be done is alleviating the poverty in the long run because even if the economists and scholars identified the US&#x27;s relative poverty rate it is STILL SIGNIFICANTLY higher than European countries.

I&#x27;m not sure why anyone is bragging about Chrysler.Chrysler was bailed out so it could be sold to an Italian multinational company (Fiat has been seeking $4 billion in financing to buy the 41.5 percent of the U.S. auto company it doesn&#x2019;t already own from VEBA). Why are you bragging about that?Oh, and The government&#x27;s decision to sell its remaining shares of General Motors (GM)&#xD;&#xA; means the automaker&#x27;s bailout will likely wind up costing taxpayers at &#xD;&#xA;least $10 billion.
