Misleading for Trump to claim mass deportation is about public safety.  Only 11% of ICE detainees have been convicted of any serious crime.  Instead ICE is ignoring criminals to go after all illegal immigrants even those that are harmless.  ICE has been ordered to maximize quantity over quality.  Visas for thousands of legal immigrants are cancelled so they can be deported without due process.   Instead of removing the worst migrants, Trump administration is jeopardizing public safety to reduce US population for no good reason.
