The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau announced they are going to be capping overdraft fees at $5 for banks that have over $10 billion in deposits to follow through with a Biden promise to get rid of junk fees. It will take effect Oct. 1, 2025.

Thank God for that, Mugg !!  His Destruction Tour came off the tracks on Day 1 of the Biden Presidency, and never recovered.   Inflation here, overrun borders there, two new wars over here..  It's been  a true dumpster fire for 4 years... Biden administration has delivered on promise to fix broken Public service loan forgiveness program created by congress.  Recently, $4+ billion in student loans for almost 55,000 borrowers.  Bringing debt forgiveness to $180 billion for 5 million Americans.  Previously, Trump administration has been negligent in refusing to do its job for years.  Government employees who made payments for 10 years are supposed to receive debt relief.  Lawsuit from American federation of teachers resulted in settlement restoring debt relief as promised.
