If they were to make this virus and then decide to unleash it, you wouldn't open the back door at the lab and let it go! They would have sent it to a different country and released it. Or, if they wanted, for whatever crazy reason, to release it in their country, logic would dictate they would release it near the original source, the bat caves 800 miles away. That would make it look natural.

According to the Intercept, many scientists reject economist Sachs claim that covid originates from US or lab in China.  His key words are "we don't know for sure."  He acknowledges unusual sequence of amino acids could have evolved naturally.  Recent studies offer strong evidences of natural origin because of how 2 different covid variants spread directly from Wuhan market.  But so far, origin of pandemic is still inconclusive and more investigations are needed.
