Maybe this is because you see people that fit into groups based on color of skin or sexuality (which has literally nothing to do when it comes to business) and fail to see people as people and set aside skin color. My company that was started back in '95 doesn't have any DEI, we are an equal opportunity employer. We don't give a crap about anyone, you are just an employee number on the spreadsheet. You will be replaced faster than you were remembered. All you have to do is show up on time and not on drugs. There are workers who have ankle bracelets on, and now most new hires walk from a far because the bus line is about a mile away. Years ago, we had to put the bloods in one section of the building and the latin kings in the other far away from each other, but thankfully the insane clown posse took care of that problem.
Its a great work model, treat everyone like shit then there is no favoritisms. Every Monday they get kicked in the nuts(or insert body part) and on Friday we thank you by handing you a paycheck because everyone deserves to pay taxes

I sort of understand where she is coming from. Is there more of a real threat from China than other countries? Is it a real threat from a security standpoint? Is it a worse situation in Arizona than other states? In other words, how do you determine which can and cannot own land? Does it change with each administration? Do you then ‘force’ them to sell it back?
I honestly have done no research on what is allowed in each country and how it is done. Is this reciprocal with certain countries? Maybe certain locations are more sensitive than others. But I do not know if that is the case in Arizona or not, etc., etc. You read on some sources and it is the worst thing possible for the country to allow it; read other places and they say the perceived threat is overblown.
So, I just wanted a local perspective from that area on it.
