wow, those are great odds.  that bet is done.  she isn't getting indicted nor is it even a question.  the chances of hillary getting indicted were so remote for several reasons.  i never saw it below -400 or so.

I think we all assume that there will be no indictment before HRC takes office.

Once she is sworn in, even having the ability to indict a sitting president is questionable from a legal perspective. This has been argued before the supreme court with no final decision rendered.
So, as far as indictments go, the criminal has dodged the handcuffs.

Now impeachment is a different matter.
HRC is likely to be impeached.

i imagine house republicans will alternate their time for the next 8 years between impeaching clinton, benghazi hearings, email hearings, obamacare repeals and most importantly, vacations.

That -260 bet was graded few months ago when Comey decided not to prosecute HRC in July. But now we're have second brawl between Comey and HRC.

i'm surprised they paid it.  i thought the bet was whether she was indicted in 2016.

again, she isn't getting indicted for a variety of reasons but one fairly obvious one is comey and the doj have already publicly said there isn't sufficient evidence of criminal activity to move forward.  comey said it under oath.  you are never going to win a case when you've already said that on the record unless these.  it would be the first case in the history of the country where the head of the fbi and the head of the doj are key witnesses for the defense.

unless these new emails are the nuclear codes being sent directly from hillary to putin's email address, this thing is dead.  and i doubt that because trump isn't likely to have given hillary putin's personal email address.

incidentally that's one reason why the fbi and the doj never make this stuff public and this case is so strange.  once you go public with a decision essentially saying no crime, you can't go back on that.  it's much smarter to just put the file in storage and let it sit and if something changes or something new comes up, you can pick it up again.  but if you've already announced your position publicly in the target's favor, you're done.

that's how the fbi does it in every case because it';s smarter.  why they went off the rails here, well, everyone can speculate about that.

First of all, if HRC fires Huma, who will then lick her ball sack?

Secondly, when it comes to "truthfulness" do you really believe that HRC has a stance to make?
    Seriously?

I bet you GOP lawmakers will attack HRC in many zones as you described above if she gets elected. It looks like a never ending story to the GOP vs Clintons.

I have fully wrapped my arms around the idea that impending is closely followed by impeachment.

To be honest, HRC being president has been a foregone conclusion for quite some time, and I'm ok with it.

Trump is an imbecile, and  this can not be disputed.
But I take major umbrage with anyone who touts HRC as being a person of honesty, integrity, or character.
Whenever someone does so, I verbally pounce on them, which isn't really fair because the mere fact that someone would defend her shows a complete lack of intelligence and/or astuteness.
Either way, these people are almost too easy to pick on

Or, Dem lawmakers will attack Trump.
Regardless of who wins, the vitriol for the following 4 years will be historic.

I also have this vision that in the unlikely event that Trump wins, there will be significant rioting in some neighborhoods in the following days

    CD, enjoyed the chat

Now i'm going down to the local football field and watch a bunch of boys play tackle football in the opening week of playoffs.

I need to stress that while I enjoy watching 10-14 year olds play football, I do not mean that in a Sandusky kind of way

But i do agree with your fools of "Or, Dem lawmakers will attack Trump. Regardless of who wins, the vitriol for the following 4 years will be historic.", this appears the way how democratic system works in this country.

Pinny odds at -370 currently for hillary. Seems fair with a tad of value for her backers IMHO. Trump essentially must get PA and that seems improbable if not impossible based on states demographics. This FBI story will tire in a few days. Never underestimate the stupidity of the average American. She will pull this out.

It is amazing to me Mark that there are people like you that hope a traitor like Hillary wins so you can win a bet. The only stupidity is you Mark. Go find a good out house Mark. Go bleep the demographics in PA. Not to mention Mark, You are actually proud, proud that HRC can win.

PA is the key state in all of this. I believe (too lazy to look it up) that Romney barely won PA. The key for Trump is to win over these same voters. But PA has a lot of female and college educated voters who do NOT trust Hillary, but are undecided about Trump and his suitability for the Presidency. Will they NOT vote at all? Will they vote Stein? Will they vote for Trump now?

The problem has been HRC trust with Human Abedin and her husband Weiner (whose political career and public life are OVER). I remember going to a success conference and Donald Trump's simple keys to business success that I WISHED I had followed: "Hire SLOW and FIRE FAST!" He did this WELL in this campaign--utilizing Lewandowski up to the primaries, then abandon the dogfight style and hiring the right people for the general. She also believed too much in her legal team to steer her away from trouble. 60% do not trust her. She is perceived as an insider. This FBI investigation NOW happens because Huma did not disclose all the computers--that will piss off an investigator. And they must have found more emails that show a knowledge of utilizing private servers with classified information--this is now a very very serious oftense and it NOW puts Hillary in the deepest of waters at a critical time. And it happened because Weiner was sexting a 15 yr old unknown girl and the FBI was investigating him. There were over 10,000 emails likely of a classified nature going thru Hillary's right hand girl--and into the hands of the Russians and ANYONE who wanted to look at them--That's why it's called the WORLD WIDE WEB. This is both reckless, self serving, and an obstruction of justice. I do not want to judge the matter anymore than that.

These are criminal charges but they CANNOT be handed over to the DOJ--that is a conflict of interest. It has to be a "special prosecutor." This is likely IMPEACHABLE.

As gamblers we all know to "expect the unexpected" and never assume. I really think this could get even more crazier. I did not like Hillary's body language. She KNOWS this is serious. Could DJT run unopposed? Listen, it happened in the republican primaries. Just saying...

Sundance, you couldn't be more wrong. I'd be happy to lose the single bet I've actually placed. I'm going off instinct and on my PA knowledge. My wife has driven every weekend for the last month, 2 hours (I live in Rural De) to go door to door in the Philly suburbs and stories she and other volunteers come back with are downright scary. Many people don't know an election is coming up, don't care and tell her to her face that they are voting for her because of her gender. In my hometown you'd get ostracized for voting for Hillary but not in philly. This gives me pause to think trump will win. He must get PA the map dictates it. BTW, I consistently place bets against my rooting interests. You have to if you want success in sports/political wagering.

    uh yeah.

feeling confident. the clock is running. nothing much has changed since Van's first post. his path is and always has been a very narrow one. yes, he could hit the inside straight, but I'll pay to see it. unlike a lot of the talkers here who don't put there money where their mouths are.

Yes. Our country will endure 8 years of Republican investigations into HRC's emails, etc. The Republicans have nothing to offer but obstruction. But the Democrats are just about as worthless ... this is what we deserve.

Trump is leading in NH according to a new poll, is almost tied in CO and NC. Do you think he can pull it off?
