The disgraced former president, who is the GOP leader and head of the trump crime family - convicted of tax fraud, currently under indictment for more tax fraud,  and now found guilty by a jury of 6 men for sexual assault - said he would pardon “a large portion” of the rioters at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, and even pulled out a printout of his own tweets from that day in an attempt to deflect blame when pressed on why he deliberately waited 3 hours before finally relenting and telling the rioters to leave the Capitol.

Sidehatch is right.  Trump will pardon most of them if elected.

In fact he will undo just about everything the Biden admin does, and much of what our judiciary does as well

Allowing states to determine their own abortion policies have eroded rights to abortion.  This is undemocratic because majority of Americans support personal choice of whether to have an abortion or not.  Patients and doctors are best qualified to make that decision.  Not judges and politicians.  Now fight for abortion rights can influence elections.

The world is bewildered that the US is risking debt default or financial suicide in dangerous game of chicken.  Vast majority of countries don't have debt ceilings.  The minority has debt ceilings that are just guidelines to be ignored when overspending is necessary.  US debt ceiling is illegal according to congress budget and impoundment control act.

Myth is that GOP insistence on negotiation about raising debt ceiling is not hostage taking of US economy, but rather ordinary politics.    Since 1960, debt ceiling has been automatically raised over 70 times without default.  So threatening default is abnormal and only republicans engage in such hostage taking by refusing to pay bills.  Besides, federal budget is its own debt ceiling and should be negotiated separately. 

Another myth is the dispute is between Biden and congress.  Actually, House republicans versus congress because the debt has already been approved by past congresses.    14th amendment requires Biden and congress to ensure bills are paid.  Therefore republican political blackmail is unconstitutional and an abuse of power.

Now Trump wants US to default unless there are devastating spending cuts to damage US economy.  Under his administration, US budget deficits and total debt increased substantially.  Financially responsible democrats and republicans vote to raise debt ceiling 3 times.   Current reckless republicans threaten to hold US economy hostage by refusing to pay bills.  In contrast, democrats have never engaged in using debt ceiling as a negotiating wedge.  Ridiculous that republicans blame democrat delay in negotiation as threatening debt default.  Republicans spend months failing to present their ransom demands.  To blame both sides is bonkers because republicans create this crisis.
