Trump Org CFO makes parole

Allen Weisselberg, the former chief financial officer of the Trump Organization, was released from jail on Wednesday after serving roughly four months for his role in a decade-long tax fraud scheme.

Weisselberg, who remains loyal to former President Donald Trump, was sentenced in January to five months in jail as part of a plea deal, which involved him pleading guilty to 15 felonies and testifying against Donald Trump at the criminal tax fraud trial.

Trump now relentlessly attacks DeSantis because he is probably his main threat for GOP nominee.  Oddly, DeSantis isn't doing much to defend himself.  Perhaps, he needs to attract Trump supporters without alienating them?  2024 might be a bad year for GOP nominees because fighting between republicans could divide votes.  If Trump loses, he is so vindictive that sabotage is not impossible.

For now, yes.
