Pro-Trump lawyer charged in conspiracy to seize Michigan voting machines after 2020 election

A pro-Trump lawyer who allegedly took part in a conspiracy to seize and access voting machines in Michigan after the 2020 election is now facing four state-level criminal charges, according to court documents reviewed by CNN.

Stefanie Lambert Junttila is the third – and expected to be the final – individual charged in the investigation that revolves around attempts by Donald Trump supporters to breach voting machines throughout Michigan, as part of their ham-handed attempts to prove the former president had actually carried the state in 2020.

WINDHAM, N.H. (AP) — Former President Donald Trump
on Tuesday kept up his attacks on special counsel Jack Smith
and vowed to continue talking about his criminal cases
even as prosecutors sought a protective order to limit
the evidence (and witnesses) that Trump could share publicly.

The former president lobbed the insults at Jack Smith
just days after the Department of Justice asked a judge
to approve a protective order stopping Trump from publicly
disclosing evidence (and witnesses).
Federal prosecutors contend that  Trump is seeking to
“try the case in the media rather than in the courtroom."

Trump, after his HATE rally on Tuesday, made a post 
on his social media network attacking the judge.

A Carmel, Ind., man was arrested and scheduled to go to court Friday for allegedly threatening to kill a Michigan election clerk.

The Justice Department said in a statement that Andrew Nichols threatened the clerk in a voicemail that said in part:
"We're watching your ... mouth talk about how you think
that there's no irregularities. ... [Y]ou frauded out America
of a real election. ... Guess what? You're gonna pay for it.
You will pay for it. ... [T]en million plus patriots will surround
you when you least expect it, and your little infantile deep
state security agency has no time to protect you because
they'll be bought out and we'll [expletive] kill you."

The DOJ said Nichols is charged with one count of making a threatening interstate communication, facing up to five years in prison if convicted.

The threatening voicemail added:
"We will [expletive] take you out. [Expletive] your family,
[expletive] your life, and you deserve a [expletive]
throat to the knife. ... Watch your [expletive] back."

The FBI Detroit field office investigated the Nichols case.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) —

A Wisconsin judge on Thursday
allowed a civil lawsuit filed against 10 fake electors
for disgraced former President Donald Trump and two
of his accomplices to proceed,
rejecting a move to dismiss the case.

The lawsuit is moving ahead in Wisconsin
after Michigan’s attorney general filed felony charges
on July 18 against 16 Republicans who acted
as fake electors for Trump, accusing them of
submitting false certificates that confirmed they
were legitimate electors despite Joe Biden’s victory
in the state.

The pending civil lawsuit,
filed by two Democratic electors and a voter,
seeks $2.4 million from the fake GOP electors
and two of Trump's attorneys, alleging they
were part of a conspiracy by Trump and his
corrupt accomplicecs to overturn his rout
in the 2020 presidential race. It also seeks to
disqualify those Republicans from ever serving
as electors again.

Here are the major developments Tuesday:

Republican state chairman blames Trump

Former Georgia GOP chairman David Shafer, who led
the state’s delegation of fake electors, said in a court
filing that he and the other fake electors
“acted at the direction of the incumbent President
and other federal officials.”

Shafer, a longtime member of the Georgia state Senate,
played a key role in organizing the Trump campaign’s
slate of fake electors in the state. He convened the
16 fake electors in the Georgia state capital in December
2020, where they signed a certificate falsely proclaiming
that Trump won the state.

These people try to steal the election and then when the smoke clears and they now hope for it to go away? Like a Mulligan!

Three of Donald Trump’s key election lawyers,
Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell and Jenna Ellis,
surrendered Wednesday on criminal charges in
the Georgia election subversion case.

The scene of Giuliani, the former New York City mayor
and a notable former federal prosecutor, walking into
the Fulton County jail is another amazing moment in
the ongoing investigation into Trump and his efforts
to illegally overturn his 2020 election humiliation.

Giuliani was charged with 13 crimes, including breaking
the state’s racketeering act, engaging in various criminal
conspiracies, and soliciting a public officer in the state
to violate their oath.

Powell, faces 7 state crimes.
Ellis was charged with two state crimes: violating Georgia’s anti-racketeering law and soliciting a public officer to violate their oath.

That's it.  Yep.  Two-faced.   Not a good look.

Fox News apologizes   to Gold Star family after facing backlash over pushing false story

Fox News apologized Saturday to a Gold Star family
for publishing a false story last month  claiming that
the family had to pay $60,000 to ship the remains
of their fallen Marine relative back from Afghanistan
because [FOX falsely alleged]  the Pentagon refused to pay.

 “The now unpublished story has been addressed internally
        and we sincerely apologize to the Gee family,”
a Fox News spokesperson said in a statement,
referencing the family of fallen Marine Sgt. Nicole Gee.

GOP debate reveals republicans don't want government to help people get healthcare such as abortion and insurance.  Instead they want to interfere in medical decisions best handled privately by doctors and patients.
