@fubah2 the ICC cannot hold US Folks accountable because USA is not a State Party to the statue. The ICC has no jurisdiction over the USA!

This is purely for optics so nobody can expose USA’s crimes. Furthermore ICC is not consistent so it really hasn’t earned the right to morally prosecute USA.

The US state department plan to "dismantle" the ICC

will involve pressuring other nations to abandon the court, according to CNN.

"Nations that refuse to reject the ICC's authority - while relying on US assistance - are likely to come under increased scrutiny," an official told the outlet, adding that possible punishments could involve sanctions, travel bans and visa revocations.
