In February Cable Ratings

CNN and Fox News Channel split the prime time ratings title in February,
with Fox News winning among total viewers  and   CNN taking first place
among viewers 25-54, the KEY demographic MOST VALUED by advertisers.

CNN was the most-watched among

the valuable demographic of viewers age 25-54  

for the FOURTH MONTH IN A ROW!   

CNN’s ratings performance marked the network’s best-ever February.

At the other end of the day, MSNBC’s Morning Joe finishes February as the
most-watched morning show in cable news with a total audience of
1.4 million viewers (ahead of Fox News Channel’s 1.1 million viewers
and ahead of CNN’s 734,000 total viewers).

Morning Joe also won in the KEY DEMO of adults 25-54, the demographic group
most valued by advertisers, with an average audience of 217,000 viewers,
followed by Fox News (187,000 viewers) and CNN (179,000 viewers).

The Rachel Maddow Show finished February as the No. 1 show across 
all of cable television for the 2nd straight month, and also averaged the most adults 25-54
on cable news for the month.

Maddow grew more than 30% from February 2020 both in total viewers and adults 25-54,

while Fox News dropped 30%.
