One in four ICE arrests happened in Texas under Trump. 

• The Harris County Jail leads the country in ICE detainers — a request from immigration agents to hold a person for deportation — while jails in Dallas, Bexar and Travis counties have also been in the top 10.

“What is happening in Texas is that there seems to be a system in place that makes it easier to help ICE deport people, compared to other states like California, where there is more resistance,” she said.

 Florida and Texas lead the Country in those numbers.  Not a peep about any "civil unrest".  Pay no attention to these facts as I'm sure you know the message is "Trump is only sending ICE into liberal Cities".  Miami for example, a bastion of a blue city in a sea of a red state, only has HALF the designated ICE resources/people with almost TWICE the population of Minneapolis.  Why I wonder....

 You are kind of making the exact counter point that goes against your intended retort. Why would anyone not expect that border and lower states would not be exactly as you described? Same goes for Arizona. What you are saying would be like me exclaiming that I saw a Mexican restaurant in Arizona and how shocking that is or that I saw an mom and pop Italian place when I was in Philly. Well of course this would be the case and there is no surprise. We should not hear about business as usual in areas that have a high percentage of occurance and we WOULD hear about areas where the percentages are lower.

Why would border doods be flooding Minny and why would ICE be flooding Minny? They should not so when they do it is a hot topic as they are out of place and not at all doing their responsibility by invading areas where the percentages are LOWER and the same goes that this week down here a 20 chain restaurant closed shop for a few weeks due to ICE raids as they were trying to accomplish quotas by hitting all the dishwashers and bussers at a bar chain. Did you hear about that? Well no and did you hear that some people that were inquiring about it got assaulted by ICE? Well no because down here these sort of things happen all the time and while disgusting they are not out of the range of what happens. 

Even down here there are repeated condemnation from local and state government groups saying if ICE pulls the crap they are up in Minny there will be consequences and there will be actions taken. It is not being broadcast nationally and that is because the percentages are higher here and it is much more the norm versus north states and even central states where there is zero need for those untrained wrecking balls to be wandering around.

 1.  How do you know what my "intended retort" is?  You are making assumptions based on what you "think I'm thinking".  Nope.... 

 2.  I understand what you are saying and you touched on it in explaining your counterpoint to what your assumption was.

My first answer is the media.  Now you outline it as "business as usual" so they ignore it.  Yes, too an extent that is a factor.  Florida not so much but as you said, Arizona and Texas share the border.  Business as usual does not sell for the media.  We know they want the headlines, "sex sells" or in this case, "violence and unrest".  

Second to this is the simple fact, and related to your point, that the "business as usual" includes State and local LEOs doing their jobs in coordination with ICE.  We know that is not the case in Minny.  So one could state it as Minny is a blue city, a sanctuary city, that has had no or very limited state and local enforcement in this arena, requiring a much larger presence on a per population base than Miami, which has had the experience and therefor not requiring the amount of presence.  Right?  

Another viewpoint would be that Minny is just being targeted but why?  Was it the fraud report that was released just prior to all of this popping off up there?  It can't just be because Minny is a sanctuary city because there are many sanctuary cities without the pomp and circumstance of what's going on in Minny.  What are the real reasons?  Why did Minny get to be the first targeted city?  Why not Chicago?  NYC?  LA?  Are there real reasons or just speculation at this point?  IDK....

 First off Rieder=clown show my first thought was what the crap? My second thought was this guy fits PERFECTLY with the chaos and stupidity which is Trump. He is the exactly wrong candidate but the exactly correct pick someone like Trump would make. 

I did not reply to some of the other bait replies a few guys made because it was obviously a trap intended to pick a fight so I just side stepped it and it was obvious. If the root reason for the invasion was fraud then what the crap is ICE and the border guys doing up there? Fraud is not what ICE takes care of, ICE raids Home Depot and bussers at ZIPS and removes the wrong people who are illegals versus doing real work and focusing on crime and abuse, ICE is a joke. I have more respect for the border guys when they are doing BORDER work..we have lots of state border guys and feds down here doing hard work and being more respectful at the same time. If the reason for this invasion was fraud then get the government groups who investigate FRAUD on the case. Fraud means auditors and financial investigators people tracing the flow of money and the process to how this happened in Minny and Ohio and AZ and Calif and every single freaking state in the country. This ICE scam is a hoax that they laughing blamed on fraud from brown folks..

Let me connect the "short" dots for you 'Kool Aid Guy.  Biden opened up the Southern Border.  It borders Latin American Countries.  Most illegal aliens will be "brown"  .  Is that too racist for you ? ..  Tough.

Both you guys should be glad if it does happen to be Reider, as opposed to Hassett.   Reider knows his stuff, and I prefer people that have worked extensively in the private sector, particularly with fixed income.   That is quite analogous to monetary policy and interest rate policy.  Hassett is nothing but a loyalist to Trump that would drive down interest rates, sparking inflation.   Hasset is better for fiscal policy, which is why Trump is propping him up in recent days to save face for him.  

You see what I did there lefties ?  I can talk critical of Trump and what was seen early on as one of his preferred picks to be Treasury Secretary.  I can tell you that Trump got an earful from a lot of supporters that said Hasset would be disastrous for monetary policy. 

You can bank it won't be him for Treasury Secreatary because of this. 

Huffpost reports that Trump administration knew about Minnesota fraud in 2020 but did nothing.  Former US agriculture department official reveals Minnesota education department warning of odd "Feeding our future" reimbursements.  Minnesota complaints lead to FBI investigations and criminal convictions.  However Trump administration only became involved to exploit fraud as excuse to crackdown on Minnesota in weaponization of government against political enemies.

Yes but when will people wise up and learn this, I mean we've all had plenty of time to "get it".  I don't know who is worse, those on the left that lose their mind over shit he says or those on the right who either, 1.  Don't care and just role with it, OR, 2.  Actually believe it.  The former is probably worse because for all their crying the end result never happens then they just fall for it again, rinse and repeat.

 The fascist nonsense divides and angers it pits people against each other and brings out the worst in society. I'd prefer a diplomat on EITHER side who wants to work with the other side and is a respectful upstanding person. To me that is the most important and dangerous aspect to Trump that he leads by division by hate by anger by character destruction and chaos. 

Both parties have their bad qualities and both serve the lobby and corporate money bags and I do not see that changing but this reckless trashing of everything and the extremist outliers are destructive. I'll take a reasonable classy centrist any day of the week and I would prefer to leave religion and fringe radical concepts from politics.
