Well, that was yesterday....TODAY the war trump started - violating his promise to the American voters on his word of honor as a republican - the nat. avg pump price  has risen again, 

now to $3.71 per gallon

The Diddler's economic goon Kevin Hassett on CNBC today: "If the war were to be extended, it wouldn't really disrupt the US economy very much at all. It would hurt consumers, and we'd have to think about what we'd have to do about that, but that's really the last of our concerns right now."

Diesel fuel now over $5.00 per gallon - the highest since 2022!

Not only do owners of cars and pickups which use diesel have to pay more at the pump, as well as delivery trucks and trains, but their costs will increase the costs of the consumer products they move!

International energy agency warns that Iran war is the largest supply disruption in the history of global oil market.  Even if war ends today, restoring oil from Middle east might take 6 months.  World simply cannot produce its way out of a energy crisis.  It must adapt by reducing oil demand.  Higher prices increase risk of stagflation.
