Then look at the other networks, performance, and cuts.

Six years ago, the viewership of The Late Show was at 3.81 million; by the 2023-2024 season, it was at 2.6 million, per the Hollywood Reporter.

Finally, I dont have all the info.  Meaning total staff, salary, production cost, etc versus revenue.

I do not believe it's as simple as "their 2.x million leads the 11:36 pm slot".

Also not naive enough to think the parent being slighted isnt a factor.
