This is inaccurate, ratings were best in the slot and very consistent. They wont admit it but CBS did not like how he called out the network for settling the Trump lawsuit so his admin will allow the merger to go forward, Colbert called out CBS and Paramount for paying off Trump so he would not stop the merger. Colbert is correct btw, there was no merit or basis to yet another Trump lawsuit but CBS execs and stockholders would take a bath if Trump blocked the merger and there you have it.
I'd imagine if he wants to continue he will land somewhere else and probably do even better than at the braindead network CBS
I stated a fact that both Democratic presidents deported more than the Tangerine Toddler. I supported it then & I support it now.
I'm against sending illegals to some other country rather than their country of origin. Why haven't we sent them home?

If you watch his show he is not as partisan as the players on our site are, he has called out both sides quite frequently and is always looking for the comedic opportunity.
So show me how based on ratings that they would cancel his show? And were you aware or no that there IS a merger needing approval from Trumps group right now it is right in the middle of the process, did you understand this or no?
CBS paid off Trump over one completely stupid lawsuit about doctoring a Harris interview, what a total waste of time and a spectacle sham yet CBS needs this merger or some pockets are going to get picked if Trump makes yet another personal partisan decision based on retribution and spite.

As far as Colbert goes.......fuck him. I would occasionally catch his opening after the local late news & he's no different than any other lefty pundit. He, Kimmel, SNL, etc. had four years of self-written comedy, compliments of Biden & the libs, but what did they do? Just piled up insults on Trump. It's tired & uninteresting.
