It is more than just that. They are worried about being ostracized by their own party. Look at what they say about Fetterman, for example.
But it is the same for both parties. You can see this with Massie, Greene, etc.
But I still contend that the Left is much better at being united than the Right. You see this for sure around elections. The Left will always unite around their candidate that is left standing. Whereas, the Right will sit at home if they do not like the candidate. So, I think you see the same mindset with the folks in Congress.

It isnt even 1% about the issue, most POTUS have dealt with the underside of illegals no matter what the political group they belong to. 100% of the issue is only about the lack of respect and the manner to which they go about the issue.
