 Been listening to Shawn Ryan's interview of Gavin. In chunks, as I can only stand so much Gavin. He's definitely gearing up for a run. He's painting himself as the moderate candidate, which is comical.

Prior to running for President, Donald Trump was accused once of sexual assault. Years ago, a colleague who was a guest of Trump, with her boyfriend present, claimed he tried to kiss her. Who knows. I could believe it. Nothing came of it. No money exchanged hands. They ended up amicable. She has worked for him recently.

Also years ago, his first wife, during divorce proceedings, accused him of taking it once. Who knows. She recanted on her own. They remained on good terms. As good as divorcees can be. Thos accusations are a far cry from the accusations leveled against him post Presidential run. Nothing came from any of it with exception of Carroll. It was found to all be bullshit. And frankly E.Jean Carroll's story is complete bullshit. It's plain to see forvwho has looked into, or read even an excerpt of her book. That's how I know the posters here have not. They just get off on calling him rapist. Taking one of the most heinous of words and trivializing it.

Here is how bullshit E. Jean Carroll's story is. Even the jury that found him "libel of rape" didn't even really find him libel rape. She accused him of full penetration. The jury said, "Bullshit. Nice try but we'll throw you a bone and say he finger blasted you." The irony is that doesn't constitute rape in the state of New York. It left the very liberal judge to come out and say, "I know this isn't technically rape but it is in my book," because it was always about people like you, and TV talking heads, beibg able to call him rapist. Finger blasted someone against there will is rape in my book too but he never touched that woman. Her story has more holes than imitation swiss cheese.

Why did Epstein have 14 different phone numbers for Trump? 
Why did Trump write Epstein a creepy birthday letter?

Why did Trump brag about judging beauty pageants with MINORS BELOW THE AGE OF 16?

Why are there so many pictures of Trump with Epstein, and later on with Diddy?

Why did Pam Bondi say the list was on her desk, only to say the list doesn’t exist at all?

Why is Congress adjourning early to avoid having to vote on Epstein files? (This one is easy, they are spineless cowards who don’t want to be seen as calling for justice for pedophiles.)

 Stu, it's just the flavor of the day. They don't have much else. 

But isn’t that just how it is - that you get your history looked at differently if you run for president ? I mean in the movie/tv-show industry - you have figures like Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein - that could do their shit for years - in the latters case also after being accused of it ! You also don’t have to go back more than 15-20 years and then times were different - you could easily clap a girl in the butt without consent and it wasn’t unusual for men in power using that privilege when interacting with women - sometimes even interactions bordering “rape” - Bill Clinton would also never have faced the shitstorm he did if not for being president - in that time fucking your secretary was probably the norm !

But being president normally there is a ruleset and being accused of rape and rape of children is as far as I know not the norm

And I admit that I don’t follow Trump as intensively as you guys - I basically don’t know any of these things you guys mention - I have watched a movie about him once - where you in a scene saw him rape his “girlfriend”, his befriending Epstein and then I know the Stormy Daniels case - but even only knowing those three thing I would say you should be investigated if you were ever accused of being a pedophile - I mean even if I was Trump I would want that - what the hell - who wants to be accused of being a pedophile if you ain’t one ? I would use every waking second getting that allegation of me - I would rather be accused of Murder

 Bro, guys knew what Cosby was doing for years. Same with Weinstein. Same with R.Kelly. In like '99, people were handing around a bootleg tape of Kells with a minor like it was chewing gum. Comedians joked about it. Dave Chappelle made a famous skit about it. It just took for society to collectively clutch their pearls and say, "We been laughing about this for 20 years but it's actually no ok." Cosby's accusers didn't come out of nowhere. They accused him going back to at least the 70s. Even Janice Dickenson, a famous model. It took a comedian, Hannibal Burress, to mention it during a set, to be captured on a cellphone, to go viral, for people to say, "Oh yeah, we forgot we let Cosby get away with rape for decades." It's the same with Weinstein. Not decades but years though. Yet, with Trump, all this comes out after he runs for President.

the (underaged) lawsuit was brought 3 times.  the original she wanted 100 million payout, and the judge threw it out.  I read that one, but when the next two were withdrawn by the accuser both times it sounds like a witch hunt looking for a payday from some rich jerk.  

Back in the early 2000's Trump threw Epstein out of Mara Lago on his ass, it was very publicly reported.  If Epstein had dirt on DJT, or video/wire taps whatever this would've come out by now.  it would've been leaked by the journalists who exposed Hulk Hogan and got their asses sued and shut down...then deleted from the interwebs.  Not going to give the satisfaction to their name.  Epstein was a 'financier' who handled a ton of dirty money from many different countries most popular & powerful.  Don't shade on the intel of him with CIA and Mossad double agent, that's most likely how he operated for so long

the GOP play here right now seems to be to get as close to the mid terms as they can.  If they can do that then JD can 25th if they can prove any of this on DJT.  

But let's be real here, this was the Dems whole gamebook with Biden/Harris!!  get to the finish line and worry about the other stuff later.  the only difference is its happening with the other side calling the shots and making laws.

now Trumps still mentally there to not step aside but after the midterms, JD can 25th and have two years to not count against him on term limits.  all the GOP did was take the playbook from the donkeys.

I should add that one main difference between my thread and whathisname’s thread is the fact that this one accounts for the GOP’s Epstein issue. They profiteered by celebrating elaborate conspiracies, fabricated out of thin air, then when people actually ask to see the files Trump immediately squashes it because he was Epstein’s best friend for 20 years. 
Then Trump calls his own supporters morons.

This is the same Trump who wanted Matt Gaetz to be the one who oversees the Epstein files, because Matt has such a great track record with sex-related offenses. (He knows lots about them due to personal experience, per the bipartisan House committee.)

So it’s natural to speculate that Trump will play kingmaker and try to make Gaetz, or crybaby cheerleader Gym Jordan, his successor.
