You don’t understand how post-judgment interest works in the “appellate” courts. The threat of $200-$400 million on top of a $1 to 1.6 billion judgment is enough to sink a publicly held Corp like Fox, or force a shareholder revolt. Fox probably will lose, and may have no choice to appeal.
That being said, Dominion does have to prove their damages to reasonable certainty. That can be very difficult to prove.
