Years ago, mandatory searches for documents used to be routine for government officials who change office. Not uncommon for some accidental mishandling out of thousands of documents. Recently, Biden lawyers invite FBI to search his home. He immediately cooperates with justice department and National archives upon discovery of documents. No lying, obstruction of investigations, hiding or destruction of documents. In contrast, FBI repeatedly asks Trump for return of documents over months and needs a search warrant before raiding his home. If not for raid, National archives would never recover some documents. So Trump is in greater legal peril.
