Good Lord have I changed. I came out of the service angry at everyone. I channeled that anger into becoming a Big Brother which is a tremendous program helping kids from single parents. We weren't allowed to lavish these kids with presents; the time we spent with them was our present. Fishing off the pier, shooting hoops, playing catch, going bowling etc. That experience made me realize how lucky I was to be alive.
Retired @55, have a wonderful wife, 2 good kids, good friends, good health except for some horrible dreams. Still gamble, drink & smoke doobies.
I wouldn't change anything now.
