Have to give Trump credit for the comment about companies leaving and taxing the product coming back. This is what Wall and I have been saying forever. HRC had no response to that.

I am not going to watch even a second of this as I am sure you might already know...but it is easy for Trump to say all these things from outside the beltway, he has no idea the lobbyist and corporate beatdown every single elected official faces from day one on the job.
So hurrahhhhh for Trump, but he wont change a damn thing because there is no way for any elected official to release the chokehold corps have on the system.
One visit from uncle Jamie and uncle Tim and its all over.

Haha. I hear you. I'm still waiting for the solution. I mean, it couldn't be as easy as telling companies that if you keep your headquarters here (so your CEOs are protected under our soil) but send the factories elsewhere, you are no longer a US company.

That is how I would handle it...until the squid choked me, so I guess I would have 5 seconds to do so.
If you offshore production or operations you are taxed as an import foreign company...end of story.
I also dont care if you are an multi-national corp who sells around the world, if you want the benefit of this country then pay taxes, if you need to create a foreign entity for your foreign production to foreign sources then make it...and be taxed when you import like every other foreign corp.

It's not quite the trainwreck I was expecting. I was glad about that for a while, but now I'm bored and hoping it all goes to hell in the last hour. I don't think either is really winning. If I had to score it, I'd probably give her the nod. She looks ok, hasn't fallen over, and landed a couple of decent jabs. I doubt seven voters have changed their mind based on anything that's gone on tonight. Both sides have gotten bogged down in things nobody really cares about. Meh.

Yeah, and I think both kind of thought they had some great soundbites, but I don't think they really translated/resonated over the transom. I thought Don missed missed a big chance on the emails thing, when he couldn't get away from the tax return issue. Her deep concern with America's right to know what's in his returns contrasted hilariously with her setting up an illegal server for the sole purpose of making sure Americans had no idea what she was doing. Oh well. Lester playing it pretty straight so far. The NYT will hate him in the morning if he keeps this up.
Ah, we're off in the weeds again. This whole debate appears to have assumed a level of familiarity with current events and world affairs that about 7% of the populace possesses.
