The 9 Republican neo-fascists who voted against a bill to help poor families buy baby formula amid the ongoing shortage
YAHOO NEWS -
The bill is a measure that expands on a federal program to help desperate low-income women and children.
The "no" votes - all from REPUBLICANS - were:
Andy Biggs, Thomas Massie, Clay Higgins, Chip Roy, Louie Gohmert, Paul Gosar, Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert, .... and as usual, Marjorie Taylor Greene thumbs_down
And we will likely see these same names repeatedly in any future proposals

(CNN) The Biden administration announced Thursday that it had secured its first batch of infant formula from overseas and was preparing to fly it through the newly created Operation Fly Formula program.
The first plane being utilized for the operation is anticipated to leave from Switzerland in the coming days, an administration official said. The administration has finalized agreements with Nestle to transfer the equivalent of up to 1.5 million eight-ounce bottles of formula from abroad.

Operation Fly Formula
The measure is aimed at ensuring that families in need can continue to buy baby formula with their benefits from WIC -- also known as the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children -- during a public health emergency or supply chain issues such as a product recall.

The FDA has reached an agreement with Abbott Nutrition to reopen the plant, which has been shuttered for months because of contamination issues.
The agreement lays out steps the manufacturer must take to restart production at its plant.
The baby formula shortage has thrown the White House into crisis mode, frustrating the West Wing and the rest of the administration as they struggle with how little control they have over a situation that is centered at the US Food and Drug Administration, an independent agency that the White House neither controls nor gets direct reports from.

"...a situation that is centered at the US Food and Drug Administration, an independent agency that the White House neither controls nor gets direct reports from"
It's unfortunate the White House has little to no control over the independent FDA
Still, contamination from improper procedures causing the death of an infant and sickness of countless others, has to be dealt with by the FDA under the current rules.
Blaming Biden for the contamination, or whatever the independent FDA does is as stupid as blaming Biden for high gas prices.

Certainly this requires a logical reason for why she felt it necessary to oppose this

Great to see a President working with American businesses to fix American problems with no insults, no threats & no badgering.
As Thirdperson already noted, the first mercy flight of President Biden's "Operation Fly Formula" has landed in Indiana and is being distributed to hospitals and care facilities first, where there is the most critical need.
The next major flight is due on Wednesday.

(AP) — Jill Biden and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy welcomed the delivery Wednesday of a second shipment of baby formula that the Biden administration is importing from Europe to ease critical supply shortages in the U.S. resulting from the shutdown of the Abbott Nutrition production facility.
Dr. Biden and Murthy spoke on the tarmac at Dulles International Airport in Virginia in front of a FedEx Express plane that had just delivered 60 tons of infant formula from Ramstein Air Base in Germany under the Biden admin's Operation Fly Formula program.

The baby formula shortage stems mostly from Abbott Nutrition’s plant in Sturgis, Michigan, which the Food and Drug Administration closed in February due to contamination issues. Abbott, one of just four companies that control the vast majority of the market for infant formula, then announced a massive recall of its product on Feb. 17, which led to the nationwide supply shortage.
