President Joe Biden took steps on Wednesday to address the shortage
of infant formula in the United States, invoking the Defense Production Act to help manufacturers obtain the ingredients needed to ramp up supply.
Biden also directed U.S. agencies to use Defense Department commercial aircraft to bring formula into the U.S. from overseas.

President Joe Biden on Wednesday invoked the Defense Production Act
to speed production of infant formula and authorized flights to import
supply from overseas -- a domestic shortage caused by the safety-related
closure of the country's largest baby formula manufacturing plant.
Biden's Defense Production Act order requires that
suppliers of formula manufacturers to fulfill orders from those companies
before other customers, in an effort to eliminate production bottlenecks.

Ontario makes baby formula but it's shipped over seas and they are not going to ship to USA. I think it's Amazon Canada. Some jerkoffs will probably sell some desperate parents formula that is not I suspect.

The real reason why the Republicans opposed this bill is that the Dems snuck in a raise for the idiots at the FDA — the numbskulls who created this entire mess in the first place.
