According to motherjones, not one of 62 mass shootings in the U.S. over 30 years has been stopped by an armed civilian.  Rare successful examples fall apart under scrutiny Police mostly hate the idea of armed civilians getting involved.

According to journal "Homicide Studies", real solutions to eliminating risk of mass murder are unlikely to be implemented. That is, abolishing 2nd amendment, achieving full employment, restoring sense of community, and arresting everyone who looks suspicious.  Allowing mass murder is the price paid in a society that values freedom.

If the U.S. government really took it's first and most important responsibility to the citizenry seriously, we wouldn't be in a pi$$ing match about whether armed people in that club would be a good idea.

Regarding that point, 103 people got shot by one person with a gun. Isn't it obvious if someone else was armed, trained and shooting back, not that many innocent people would've been shot? I think that's an obvious YES.

If the FBI and other government agencies that absolutely burn the loot of $billions every year did their job efficiently, the Boston Marathon bombers wouldn't of succeeded, San Bernardino & Orlando would've have happened. Trump called it correctly that Political Correctness is getting people killed. Listen to the morons in charge "if you see something, say something"... Many people have spoken out and said something and what good has that done? These people couldn't be more obvious unless that tattoo "Islamic Terrorist" on their foreheads.

Certainly, we all have rights that I don't want compromised but when the FBI interviews these "soon to be terrorists", something is wrong if they aren't stopped before the massacre. Keep voting for Democrats and this will go on and on.

Saudi Arabia (among other happy hating countries) donated $25M to the witches slush fund, how is that not an issue? Answer - the liberal media doesn't make it a point to call her on it and covers for her instead...

This attack was broke a glass ceiling, a protected class and huge donators to the left were hung out to dry. 3 hours this went on? How is that possible with people calling in like crazy, it's not 1985, everyone has a phone. Wait until the 53 survivors start speaking out, the dead have no voice but hopefully the survivors will ask why the FBI & government agencies failed them so badly, especially since our Islamic friends adore the happy's soooo much, they're an OBVIOUS target.

All of our problems are caused by our efforts to be PC.

Lines at airports can immediately be much more efficient if the lightly screen people that are known to be responsible. While focusing the tougher screening on those that are known to have a higher percentage of less responsible persons.

Same can be done at gun shops. Continue to deny gun sales from known criminals...and anyone from the middle east must be subject to a two week waiting period while a real fbi security review takes place.

Democrats are right on this issue, anyone on the no fly list should get extra screening.

Officer Adam Gruler, the perfect example of the NRA's mythical "Good Man With a Gun", was unable to prevent the massacre.

And he was trained to use firearms correctly and I bet he wasn't drunk.

I am not sure how. They can spin it. Or why educated people can believe them. But a well armed educated with truthful Intel is the only way Americans know they are safe. If FBI or NSA wants to spin a yarn that these are gun and not an act of explosives it's fairy tale. If a Muslim goes uses a credit card and purchases. An AR 15 a block 19 a garbage load of fireworks ball bearings and a pressure cooker all on the same card with in a week. Maybe a courisity call could make it a local precinct to check up on the welfare of this or other individuals. Now I know this get the civil liberties lasers panties all in a bunch for God forbid we were profiling but let's give the local PD of Disney world a heads up .....

Are you buying twwo inch threaded pipes fireworks and a case of ammo a gun look of middle Eastern descent and asking for flight school maybe just maybe you should be at least on a watch list...just saying you bringing a gun to a claymore party that's bring a tank to nuclear weapons scenario. When that Fireworks blast went off little anyone could do to stop it.

And a heads up if you are a bouncer at the door of a hopping club guy walks towards you with an AR 15 good time to lock the door and keep that lovely patron outside.
