How to start playing online

Hi All,

I am new to this game (at least online), and I just want some tips from you guys on how to start with playing online poker. I am planning to start straight away with a 200 dollar deposit :-). I have several open questions:

- On which poker room to start?

- Which bonus to use, or start without any bonus?

- Can I start with only a no deposit bonus or do I always have to deposit?

- Which are sites with the weakest fields? < probably best site for me ;-)

Hope you guys can give me some answers :)

Oke thanks for this info, I will join PKR today, although it seems to be a 3D poker site that my PC can just handle ;-), will give it a try.

I have one more question, I came accross https://www.pokerwithcashback.com , They say that it is a must in poker to join through them, and that it gives you money back monthly that you dont get back otherwise > Is this true or is it scam?

Never bother with any of them up to you I guess can't tell you anything about them.

Remember if your in the Sates you won't be able to play real money games there.

bovada is pretty good only had one problem with them in over a couple of years. can only make 1 free withdrawl per month check comes fed ex . have to have a bank acct that will cash foreign checks. the ladies at the bank have asked me where I get these chineese checks but they cash em they charge me 1$ for foreign transaction fee but they have been pretty good. Play at lower limit tables and get some experience. Best of luck !

pureplay is best you risk no money to play in any tourney.

PKR has a lite version too.

I guess total newbies would do better playing on websites where there are no actual money involved. After you master your hand you can go to the real ones, so just not go around looking for 'weak fields'

The only problem is, with free money tables you really aren't going to learn anything of use -- and may pick up several awful habits instead.

It'd be better to deposit small and start out on penny/nickel tables. It's still a new/beginner field..and some there do act like it's free money...but you'll get a better grounding for when you're ready to move up.

The guy who said Lock poker is a jerkoff who shouldnt be even joking about something like that. 

The guy who said Bovada is actually you're friend because he gave you a very good answer. This is where I play and while the sports book doesn't offer the best action the poker room is full of fish. I am a Poker player first sports better second fwiw.
