I am certainly not going to defend a poker site, but keep in mind sites like PS are making millions in a day just from rakes. Would it make sense for them to cheat.
 
I believe it does happen, but probrably by bad employees as opposed to the big wigs setting it up.

I play on PS too. I don't think they cheat either. When my pocket Aces get cracked, it was just a bad beat and someone else with a worse hand just sucked out a win from me. That's poker...

ya its rigged, full tilt and pokerstars are the worst, because of the sophistication of there rigging algorithms. but all the others are similar.
they can get away with it so there is no risk for them. they are situated in tax free havens like gibraltar and the carribean, and have no consequences from stealing your money.

people that play a lot are addicted therefore the companies know they will come back time and time again... no matter how stupid the hands are.

full tilt is the worst of all, with ridiculous hands coming all the time.
my VERY first hand on full tilt, after depositing was qqqq... ofcourse those hands dont come after a few days or weeks and instead you watch the crazy bad beats happen... well... my favourite is the old knockout teaser hand.. you got short stack and up comes the kk or qq... well ofcourse your going to push and try to double up. but you will lose more frequently than you will ever believe possible.. im sure you have all seen it many times. whenever you are up against the ropes and get a good hand, the chipleader will always have something better than you. and bang, your out of the 1 table tournament and into another one... lol..

its a joke and seriously, dont get involved.

the only way to make money on the sites is to deposit a HUGE amount of money and never to withdraw more than the smallest percentage of that. the system gives you a good ratio of wins then unless you are a terrible player or if you abuse the site..

but for myself who enjoys playing micro and small stakes, the system is designed to take your money quickly.

so yeh.. i been playing in local tournaments lately instead and having a great time... enjoy

well, you dont know me and will never know me. all you can address is my argument about online poker. which you seem to be losing track of. the fact is the deal on these sites is rigged beyond belief. especially at pokerstars and full tilt.

i know of pros that have turned down 3000 pounds to wear a pokerstars tshirt and hat at final tables in broadcast tournaments.. and why? because they dont want to be associated with bs sites.
