Hello all. As pretty much of all of you that frequent the Poker board (although thats not many, lol) know I have been very active in all the "internet is rigged" threads proclaiming that I feel that internet poker is legitimate.
 
Let me preface this post by saying a few things I agree with my opponents about the legitimacy of online poker :
 
 Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker are absolute frauds.  There is CLEAR proof that their site security was compromised and CLEAR PROOF that employees and high ranking officials at UB/Absolute (basically the same site FWIW) covered up the frauds. However, this was people seeing peoples hole cards and not the site "rigging" the deck so you would lose with AA. Cheating, ABSOLUTELY, but to be honest, noone on this forum plays at those stakes and noone that plays at "our" level has resources to pull this scam. Does this prove that the internet can be tampered with?? ABSOLUTELY. But does it show that the bad beat you took on pokerstars to lose your $50 deposit was a big setup?? ABSOLUTLEY NOT!!! The UB/AP scandal was a few insiders who tried to scam the system and got away with it, to a degree. It wasnt the site setting up you (Joe Six-pack) to take his $50 depost like so many of you claim. It was a high dollar former WSOP champ (Russ Hamilton). My point is this, NOONE KNOWS WHAT CARDS ARE COMING NEXT, which is what all the "internet is rigged" guys claim. Dont get me wrong, seeing people holes cards is just as big of cheat, but noone who has lost money online on this board has been scammed by one of these "superusers", lets be realistic guys, you dont play for enough $$$, and neither do I.
 
 
OK, so here we go with the CHALLENGE/COMPETITION/TRAINING
 
The deal is this :
 
Any poster on Covers who feels the internet is rigged and they/you/joe six-pack cant win consistently I am offering PERSONAL TRAINING in my field of expertise, (online 1-on-1 Heads-Up Tornaments). I have won nearly 30K in the last 9 months playing exclusively 1-on-1 tournaments online. Does that make me "god of online poker"? Absolutely not, but compared to most of you, KINDA, lol.
 
Anyways, my point is this. I want to take ONE GUY FROM COVERS.  The biggest, angriest, most disgruntled "internet is rigged" guy on this board and I want to personally train him, go thru his game, let him inside my mind and open his up and make him a "winning" online player. This is not some year-long process or anything.  I dont want a new best friend. I just wanna take one of you guys, give you a few hours of training via phone, Yahoo messenger, or even in person and show you some of the concepts that can make you a winning online player. Basically I just wanna prove you wrong about why youre not winning online.
 
Im even willing to put up $500 of my money against $0 of yours that I can make you a winning heads-up player in a matter of a few weeks. If you prove me wrong, I will give you $500. If I turn you into a winner and change your opinion about online poker, all you have to do is come on this forum and admit it, thats it, along with the $$$$ you will have won from my training.
 
All I need from all you "internet is rigged" guys is this. Anyone is eligible, no matter how big of a douchebag you think I am. I exclude NOONE from this competition. Everyone who is interested in this please post in this thread and tell me why you feel you are deserving of being chosen as "the challenger". Remember, I am providing all the funds to play with, all the funds to practice with, and Im giving you $500 if I cant make you a winner, YOU ARE RISKING NOTHING other than a post on this forum saying "the internet is not rigged'.
 
All week (Mon-FRI) you will be allowed to post your case as to why YOU should be the one chosen. Then over the weekend I will review all of your posts and grant the most bitter, frustrated, and losing player the "CHALLENGER" Remember though, if youre the winner you have to give me 100% effort and actually WANT to improve. I think anyone who is that pissed about online poker to come to this board to bitch about it honestly WANTS to win so if you do win my contest you have to throw all your negativity out the window and LET ME COACH YOU. If youre not onboard with this then dont apply.
 
Maybe noone will even give a shit, maybe this will be awesome. We'll see. I'll check back tomorrow.

Doubt it will happen, because they will be proven wrong, and will show how shitty their game really is.

Very interesting...Might just have to take you up on this.... Although as you know, I don't think it's rigged...Just a lot of BAD players!

Funny how when challenged to prove how good their "game" is that none of these "rigged" guys respond. Not surprising though, MUCH easier to blame the site than look in the mirror.

I had a really bad beat , I had a straight flush, but then I lost to 5 Kings. Well, I really didn't lose, as the deck was bad with the 5 Kings, so everything was dead.

HAHAHA youre hilarious. Thats be about the stupidest thing a poker player could do is take their whole bankroll and put it on one session. I understand your humor though.

 

I play for anywhere from $20 to $200 a game. If you wanna play for that I'd be up for it ANYTIME. But I wouldnt play ANYONE for 30K, thats just TERRIBLE money management. I dont have that kind of scratch.

 

Dont try and act like Im some box either. If you think putting your whole bankroll on one session is a good idea then youre crazy. Also very conveneient how you woudnt be around for the match for at least a month anyways, very nice.

]I used to deal private high limit games.  Millionares losing 50 k in a night like its nothing.  Mostly PLO.  Hate interntet but love playing head up.  That's basically how I got my bankroll was playing these guys who are awful and have money to burn.

Very, very nice. I love PLO as well but thres not much action online for it. The heads-up game is my love as well. Im an action junkie and the HU game fills my "fix" and I can still play pretty solid. The awesome thing about the intenet is you can game-select every time you play and always be up against these type of awful players youve mentioned. Itsamazing how truly putrid some guys get when the play heads-up. Absolutely amazing what weak hands guys will call you down with HU, just value-drill thgeir loose asses to death. Anyways, drop me an email sometime, Id love to talk to you about some other poker stuff off the board

I would like to take you up on your challenge.  I have seen things go down way too many times on Full Tilt poker that blow my mind.  It always seems to happen when it's late into a tourny and everyone has gone cold.  All of a sudden I get dealt a hand like KK only to find out that another guy has AA at the exact same time.  This has happened way too many times to be a coincidence.  In my opinion the cards are manipulated to induce action and get the tournament rolling to an end so a new one can begin.  I think that my game is pretty solid and that if it wasn't for forced action late in tournies I would be in a better position.  I would really like to be proven wrong on this and if you think that you have what it takes to turn me into a winning player, I would be willing to accept the coaching and freely admit that it was my game that was lacking and not the site cheating.

1-on-1s is where I make my $$$$ and where hopefully you will too. I see youve played 2 of them, and you won both of them!!!!! Although 2 tournies is nothing Im glad youve already a least played them before. Ill get back to you saturday or sunday after this is over. GL and I look forward to this
