of course it is. Some people are better heads up, ring games, tourneys, whatever.

Hey Chance,
 
My internet is still freaking down and now they're saying that it won't be back until sometime this evening (I'll believe that when it happens).  I'm at work right now (and should be working but...oh well hehehe) and I hope to be up and running by tomorrow.  I'll keep you posted and let you know. 
 
An update for the guys about my progress:  This is still the begining phase and Chance has picked out some flaws in my game that I didn't realize before.  The next tournaments that I play, I will implement Chance's suggestions and see if there is any improvement.  So far my heads up record for this challenge is 2-3 without help from Chance.  I will patch these holes up and report back with my progress using Chance's suggestions.  Right now I am playing $2 tournaments to start off with just so you guys know.

Yes, you can make good money playing HU SnG's.  Livb112 has made over 1 million dollars playing them in about 2 1/2 years, many others between 10k-350k

Depending on your stakes and your volume, a person can make about 500 to 15k a month.
 
HU SnG's
HU cash
SnG Tourney
MTT Tourney
Full Ring cash
 
Each game is different, like betting NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA bball, NCAA football, have to find what you are good at, foucus your attention on that, and stick with it.
 
Low stake cash games are awful because of the rake, live low stake cash games are practically unbeatable with the House's large rake and tips.

I will keep you guys posted and I hope they get my internet issue resolved tomorrow morning.  I told them if it's not fixed by tomorrow (when they said they are sending a technician) I will switch companies.  I've been down since last Thursday and was "guaranteed" to have it back up by Sunday (yeah right) but that obviously didn't happen.  The other problem is I don't want to switch companies because I'm 1 of very few customers that still has unlimited bandwidth up and down.  They have been  trying to get me to switch my plan but I'm standing my ground on this one.  I can't help but think they may be doing this to me (delaying the fix) on purpose.  Tomorrow they said they will be at my house between 8am and 12pm so this is their last chance or I will bite the bullet and switch providers.  I'm looking forward to progressing in my challenge.

well ill hand it to you two, you really know how to sell these rigged poker sites. youre both about as worthless as your average crack dealer on the street.

What site did you play at, and what was your screen name?

How can all these players be up thousands of dollars if it's rigged.

chance I don't believe either of them are rigged although I'm starting to prefer FTP, could u message me all the insight your giving for 1 on 1 tourneys I only play 6 handed

Chance, my internet is back up and running now so I am going to get back on the horse tonight and play some more tournies.  I'll be on at about 6pm this evening.

It's been a slow start because I've been extremely busy lately and Chance has moved up in stakes in his own game.  It will pick up slowly but surely.  I think what needs to happen is we need to designate a time when we are both free and stick to it in order for this to progress at a better rate.  Him and I keep in touch and he lets me know about his progress in his games which is encourgaging because if he gets better at higher stakes, that means I will get better and eventually be at that level as well.

I am NOT an "Online Poker is Rigged" probably because I have never had a losing year on PokerStars since I started playing there in November of 2001
 
Kinda hard to think your being cheated when you win I guess.

the rake is nuts, i would say you gotta play at least 2/4NL heads-up for the rake to not be just killer.
