NBA fan here from Buffalo. Lifelong Knicks fan but with them being irrelevant for awhile now I usually pick a flavor of the month. For me right now I think the team that could give LA the biggest scare in the West would be Dallas. I'll pause while you Laker fans chuckle. Not that I think the Mavs will beat LA, but I could see it going 6. The Mavs lack of good big men would be their undoing, but with Dirk and Howard playing so well and with the veteran poise of a guy like Jason Kidd and a sharpshooter in Jason Terry this team has the talent to steal a couple games from the Lakers especially when their shooting well.
In the East I just wanted to mention the fact that it was Orlando that went 2-0 against the Lakers. I don't anticipate the Magic getting to the finals, but its worth noting that the Magic would be a tough out for the Lakers.

The one thing the Lakers have going for them if they stay healthy is that they will have been battle tested in the west...Can't really say that for the Cavs...I know you play who's in front of you but come on Cavs fans you know that the only team that might have a chance against you guys is the C's and right now they are injury bitten and even if KG some how comes back he will in no way shape or form help out his team..He will look like Okur did in game 4
So lets roll Lakeshow and take care of buisnatch tonight!!!

i'm not a cavs fan....i'm a celts fan through and through...but i'm also a realist....without KG, Powe, and homecourt advantage I am being honest in saying I don't like their chances...at all....I do, however, like the Cavs chances not only in the east, but to win the whole thing....homecourt is just a huge, huge thing in the finals....the celts were 3-9 on the road in the playoffs last year and won the title....I just don't think the lakers will be able to beat cleveland in the finals, this is lebrons year....the cavs play better DEFENSE....I've told you this a hundred times....the lakers do not play good enough DEFENSE to beat the east....and without homecourt, they are toast.
and stop acting like your so classy and wouldn't be jumping right into my thread if it was for the celts....you are just doing the same lame shit as last year, all the ra-ra lakers this and that posts until you get a slice of humble pie again... the lakers will choke in the finals, and all these annoying laker
