I wouldn't lay the points with Brisbane confidently. Brisbane are not a top 4 team that would be deserving of such a large line. Melbourne still do have a lot of good players and I think they'll get a win or two this season if they can play well.

I agree with you Gman that Brisbane isn't a top 4 team. But question as to if Melbourne can win one or two this year. WC aren't travelling well but at least they are well drilled and can set up plays effectively. The fact they lost to carlton by more than 5 goals (which are probably bottom 4) was one of their best chances. If anybody sees the game today (I'll be watching) should see howhard Melbourne find it to set something up. Because of this I just can't see them threatening anybody and come away with a win. I could be wrong, we'll see.

I might fade myself and play Brisbane. I've been average of late, which is bad for me, as I am getting moosed quite often now....which is just not seeing things properly. I've been very busy lately (new house, child, etc.) so I am sure that is having an effect.
Thanks Dan.

Swans game is also doing my head in. They are 20% better side than North at the moment, methinks, but being at North and the fact that North is humming much better along right now (internal disruptions at Sydney), tell me to stay off this one.
If the Swans put the head games of the past two weeks behind them, they win by 20+.
If not, it's going down to the hooter.

My P.S. was a misunderstanding HOH, meant to say take Bris with the points...and thats not being a smart arse after the result. Was in a rush as my boy woke up again, and mother was out doing a few jobs so I rushed my final write up and and 'submitted' before readying back.
I actually took the game, but was looking at playing Melb in a chase system for the rest of the year for all their interstate games. In order, this is what Melb are faced with this year: Bris, Adel, Syd, Freo & Port. I just couldn't see them covering the spread in 3 or 4 of those games...and since they 'didn't' cover todays game I'm already in front, it's just a matter of looking at wether I start the chase again???
