 It definitely does happen but mostly if not always very discreetly. Not sure how this became known to the public so quickly? You said your buddy knows Perry so I am taking it that he is telling people what happened? This situation is definitely different because of the circumstances regarding how Perry was supposedly taking Conner under his helm. Bottom line is that it doesn't seem to be something that they planned to hide which is mindboggling?

 Well they prob hooked up at the team hotel (assuming the rumor true, which seems like a plausible cause. Its either that or drugs imo)

so it would spread through the moms/players/employees some how and then its out there

Way to much to cover it all here but he did say that he will start working with experts in the mental health and substance abuse fields to discuss his struggles with alcohol. He also said he wanted to make it clear that the situation didn't involve any teammates of their families. an_popcorn
