Devils have a shot to put up some goals at least. Gotta see where their energy level is defensively. Play a solid game and we can repeat last night's performance and keep this thing rolling.

i hope you are right. Tough schedule ahead of us still have to play penguins Tampa Toronto and caps , about to be 3 games played ahead of Florida as well .

SJS -1/2 -125 LIVE BET Two teams trending in opposite directions. Calgary long term has now only won 5 of their last 17. More recently they’re on a 4-game losing streak and have been outscored 20-6. Even their vaunted road record has taken a hit as they’ve lost 5 of 7 on the road with the only two wins coming against lowly Ottawa and Buffalo. Both Flames goalies have struggled and their numbers are amplified by the fact that the Flames offense has sputtered for only 11 goals in their last 7 (1.57). San Jose on the other hand has won 6-straight and 9 of 11. They’re getting hot at the right time of the year. The San Jose offense has also been the opposite of Calgary’s as they’ve netted 30 goals on this winning streak (5.00) and could have been more if not for Malcolm Subban two nights ago as The Sharks peppered him with 44 shots.

CLB -1/2 +100 The Blues got their two points at home against a very weak Vancouver team and now travel for the second of a back-to-back into Nationwide Arena to play a red-hot BlueJackets team who have now won 10-straight and have outscored teams 42-22 in that stretch. Blues have won 6 of 7 and I’m not discounting that, but the Jackets are just too hot to bet against at the moment, especially at home where they’ve won 8-straight with 31GF (3.88) against 13GA (1.63) during that run and Bobrovsky, who has a tremendous .933 Save% and 2.04 GAA on home ice. Blues will also be playing their 3 game in 4 nights so fatigue can potentially factor in here.
CHI/NYI over 6 ½ -120 The disheartened Blackhawks just gave up 5 goals to pop-gun offense Vancouver, have lost 5-straight wherein they’ve given up 26 goals (5.20) and now travel into Brooklyn where the Isles are one of the best over bets in the league having given up 24 goals in their last 5 (4.80). Anton Forsberg, on the road has a miserable .887 Save% and 3.63 GAA. What makes Isles over bets so much fun is that they can usually pot 2-3 themselves to help our cause. I don’t predict much defense being played here on either side.
NYI TT O3.5 -125
FLA -1 ½ +125 The Panthers are in a tough spot here. First game home after a road trip and they leave again for a 4-game trip that will probably make-or-break their playoff chances, which means home points are critical here. What helps our cause is the fact they were shut out their last time out, so law of averages says they are due to get back on track offensively—they had scored 50 goals in their last 13 prior (3.84). Arizona went through a spunky stretch where they showed some grit late, but the fact is their season is over and with nothing to really play for and factor in mental fatigue dealing with a lost season while in the middle of a long 6-game road trip and playing their 3 game in 4 nights. This is a ripe opportunity for the Panthers playoff chances here. Gotta get two points.
TOR -1 ½ -132 The Leafs got Austen Matthews back just on time which is a huge boost to a team that was already clicking on offense, potting 28 goals in their last 6 games (4.67). Toronto is on an 18-5-2 run, have won 12-straight at Air Canada Centre and get to host a very weak traveling RedWings team, who just after snapping a 10-game losing streak watched their offense go right back to being completely smothered in a shut-out loss on home ice. Over his last 5 games, Jimmy Howard has a .892 Save% and 3.40 GAA. Wings have supported those stellar numbers with 9 goals in that time. Good luck in Toronto, Jimmy.

MINN -115? On the fence about taking MINN at home later. They’ve lost their last two at home so they’re due, especially based on their home/road performance splits this year. Weird scheduling as they’ve had 4-straight days off which is akin to the bye week and we all know those bye week stats and how they effect a team playing against a team on regular rest. This, however is a bigger game than most realize for Nashville. They’ve been red-hot but lost their last game at home to Toronto and they play in Winnipeg tomorrow. Are they looking past Minnesota tonight? Or are they pumped to try and get these two road points tonight? Because if they don’t, suddenly The Jets play them Sunday, which would be their 3 game in 4 nights, with a chance to pull within 4 points of the division. There’s some drama here. Still no confrimation on Rinne or Saros but I feel like you have to go Saros here and save Rinne for the big Jets match-up tomorrowm, right?

If Rinne starts tomorrow in Winnipeg for both his and his teams third game in four nights against a stroing, chasing Jets team, Id look at the over there. Both teams can score and with Nashvill'e playing this many games, fatgie could really play a factor in their own end and with the goaltending.
