Arizona 2008?

Kind of under the radar, not really given much respect.

Newer coach that was top coordinator before he was hired.

Of course Cassel is no Warner and Bowe is no Fitz, but there's something about this squad.

The problem I have with KC is that they one have one win against a team with a winning record. @ home week1 against SD

Its because most people look at their shitty division and how they ended the season, not their body of work for the entire season.

I think KC spanks Baltimore tomorrow.

Arizona in 2008 had the following regular season wins...

Seattle X 2

St. Louis X 2

San Fran X 2

Miami

Dallas

Buffalo

Regular Season Losses...

Washington

NY Jets

Carolina

NY Giants

Philly

Minnesota

New England

-----------------------------------------------

Didn't really beat one solid team during the regular season and onto the Super Bowl after a magical playoff run...

KC just seems eerily similar that team.

Warner is the big difference and the reason Arizona overcame their terrible defense.

Baltimore is also a better all around defense than any team Arizona played including the Steelers.

If the KC QB plays as well as Hasslehoff did today they stand a good chance.

This year's Seattle team is a lot more like that Cards team than the Chiefs...

ravens defense is still weak. they tried to fixed that the final week but they were playing the bengals. wouldn't be surprised if the chiefs win however the ravens have the old vets that love to play hard noes playoff football. might scare away the chiefs by half time with their hard hits.

this may remind us more of the ravens spanking the dolphins in the first round a few years back but we will see.

Seattle has next to chance to zero chance to win next week...

and before you say "That's what everyone said about them today" know that I gave them a legitimate chance to win the game today.

The Chiefs on the other hand have a strong running game, an underrated QB with a bunch of playmakers (Charles, Bowe, Mcluster, etc).

yeah well after Arizona won their first playoff game in '08, they were given zero chance to win the next week at Carolina as DD dogs... also much like Seattle this year... Zona sucked hard the last month of the regular season before heading into the playoffs

Arizona had a suck run game and defense heading into the playoffs much like Seattle this year... quite different than KC situation... not saying Seattle will have success or anything... but if were talking at this point which team is more like the '08 Cardinals (KC or Sea) its definitely the hawks, no one can dispute that

Agree 100%. Seahawks also have a veteran QB who has been there before and even played in a Super Bowl just like Warner.

while i agree they aren't what they once were, they gave up 17 or fewer pts. ten times this season.

there nothing like the 08 cards...no hall of fame QB, no 2 elite wr's...if chiefs win its oiny because ravens beat themsleves (or refs fuk it up in 4th qtr late)

And the Chiefs only win against a winning team was against the Chargers on opening day when S.D. was still trying to put the pieces together. Later in the season S.D. boat raced K.C.! The Chiefs are a joke!!!!

So you think that means they cannot beat Balitmore?

Excellent reasoning and capping skills. Bottom of the barrel typre stuff. One rung above The Ravens beat the Jets who beat the Patiots so they are the best team in football type of capping.

game kicks off in less than 12 hours. Can't wait.

Great playoffs so far even though I had the Saints and Colts!!! What is in store tomorrow? Some more drama I am sure!!! Arrowhead real tough place to play, should be interesting. Best of luck to all. Better than I had today.
