You guys are morons. You think people are just going let you bet anything you want without having control over it? You are nuts. Gambling is a multi-billion dollar industry, now have you heard about Casinos and Offshures losing money to the point they can't paid you? Not the locals or the scams. The answer is simple, they have control over the games. There was an moron saying Vegas don't need to fix games, the vig alone guarantee they make money. If this guy ever goes into business for himself, I like to see what kind of stupid business plan he has. Let say 90% of people are on the over of the GB/GMEN game and the game goes over and he thinks Vegas still makes money? What you going to make the 10% of loser pay 10 X thier bet? I don't know how he got that idea or if he ever finish grade school, but let him be. He is beyond help. I am here trying to make people realized that when thing look too good to be true, it usually is. So when I smell a trap I usually benefit from it.

Tonight's game Vegas made a killing, but my buddy who is a bookie told me he got killed tonight, becasue his customers were all pros. They all has Giant and the under. That just prove that local bookies doesn't reflect the big picture and will go bust, unlike Vegas.

Careful posting the truth here, Idiots like Cailfornia Dreamin may come in here and tell you what a fool you are without offering one bit of proof to contradict you on why its not fixed.

People like him need the truth beat into them, its just how it is with some d-bags.

the difference between a good capper and a lousy one is the ability to avoid the trap and know which spot is money. If you go by all the previous record and who is good then there's no brainer, All we got to do is just pick the favorite and over all the time and then I will all be rich and takes all Vegas's money and live happly ever-after. However, fantasy world doesn't exist (quanza, califorinia dream, and sajoe) In your fantasy world, all sports bets are 50/50 on bothside so the house takes the juice only. All the electricty, food, employee salary in the Casino are free to us because the juice will cover all that.

Those that think sports are not rigged, should travel over here to Europe or the rest of the world and try to bet on soccer. I can guarantee if they go into it with the mind set of better teams win, will go broke in less than one month. Look it up on the internet. Teams are being fined, players arrested almost every month. It's very comical that some people think sports are prestige, clean, players playing to the max. Just keep in mind, whenever money is involved, crooked things are always in the background. How do you think owners pay players multi millions each year? I'm sure it's not with papers and crayons. Please, don't say it's because of ticket and merchandise sales.

It's very funny how sometimes in american football teams are favoured by 2 and they won by that exact number. If they won by 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, etc... then it's normal. But, set the game for a team to won by 2? By 2 for a push?

If you go by the financial statements, it represents a very very small piece of the pie.

Fixed may be the correct word.  Influence may be the correct word.  Either way, the fact remains, the NFL controls the outcome of certain games.  With proof of that over the years, it can no longer be disputed.

You have to ask yourself a couple of questions when it come to this topic.  Would you own/run a business without having control over it?  Would you leave the success of your business up to chance?  Obviously, the answer to both questions is, NO!

In my opinion, if someone thinks the NFL doesn't control the outcome of the games that need to be controlled, they just don't understand things like this topic of discussion.

This is an entertainment business.  The NFL owes us games played in exchange for money.  They don't owe us the outcome of said games.  They have to do what's best for their business.  If they need a game here and there to go a certain way, it will go that way.  Period.

People are not talking about those blow-out games. Talking about those close games. Actual incident, team "A" was up 4 and favoured by 3. With 6 seconds left, they were getting ready to punt. They had 2 options, either punt the ball or the punter could run around and fall down to end the game. They called a timeout and when play resume, the punter took the snap from the 50 yard line and ran all the way back to his endzone to give the other team a safety and ended the game. So, they ended up winning by 2 when favoured by 3. Ask yourself, why the hell did he did that for? Just ask yourself that.
