You are way off base. The game Westbrook took a knee was 12/16/07 vs Dallas and the Eagles were leading 10-6.with 219 left, and the Cowboys had no TO. He took a knee at the 1 and with the clock running the Eagles took a few knees and ran out the clock

You don't do this when you are behind or tied !
