Oh, good grief. There is no evidence the NFL is rigged/staged/scripted. No evidence. None.

There's not even any CIRCUMSTANTIAL evidence. If you think so, please present it, other than just claiming it to be so. (And then wait to be awarded your Pulitzer.)

The time to believe in something, anything at all, is after there is sufficient evidence and justification to warrant that belief. Not before.

Who's AWARE of this rigging? The coaching staff? ALL of the coaches including the assistants or just the head coach?

The players? ALL of the players or just a selected few?

Note that there are 53 players on each NFL team. That's a total of 1,696 players.

The legal sportsbooks around the country/world? ALL of the sportsbooks or just a selected few?

The league itself? Which employees? ALL of them?

The referees and officials? ALL of them or just a selected few?

The writers? The sportscasters? The NFL owners? Their family?

WHEN is the stage/script set? The week before each game? An hour before each game?

WHO sets the stage/script? The home team? The league office?

HOW LONG has this been going on for? Months? Years? Decades?

HOW is the stage/script PASSED ON on to those who need to know about it? Via e-mails? Word of mouth? Phone calls? Text messages?

How come none of this correspondence has every surfaced? How come not one person in on this rigging hasn't come clean? How come there's never been any evidence, ever, of any kind, that proves NFL games are rigged?

Finally, if you believe it to be true, why are you watching these games? And how come you're not cleaning up, and winning money by legally betting on the apparently known outcome, that so many different people are privy to?

There are well over 100 plays in an NFL game. Some games see as many as 150 plays. Multiply that by 16 games a week, for 17 weeks. That's a lot of plays. You don't think players are capable of dropping passes? You don't think players are capable of fumbling the ball at an inopportune time? You don't think referees are capable of making mistakes on some of these plays? (They don't have the benefit of replay before they must instantly make a decision on their call.) Could YOU as a player or official do any better? Have you ever made a mistake at YOUR job? How is a bad call or a dropped pass or an untimely fumble in any way EVIDENCE the game is rigged?

I'll say it again. The time to believe in something, anything at all, is after there is sufficient evidence and justification to warrant that belief. Not before. If there is no evidence for leprechauns, fairies, pink unicorns, then there is no valid reason to believe these things.

The REASON why betting on the NFL is such a big business is BECAUSE it's not fixed. We don't have billions being bet on the Pro Wrestling because those matches ARE scripted and planed in advance. That's not the case with the NFL.

Evident no1, game lines, game totals is freely available.  Anyone and everyone always aware of this information.  All participant in the game have a vest interests in it; the players and their immediate family; friends, official.

Evident no2, games' stat are well kept for the historical purpose, a baseline information for use; coaching and study.  The script is prepared accordingly.

    #####################

Yes there is. It's very simple. The real world /your life.. doesn't have fantastic outcomes every week.

If the Sport were real , the vast majority of games would be boring. Especially primetime.

You saw GB told they didn't score a TD when they actually did. That alone is proof. PaTs vs Falcons Is proof.  Titans not practicing for a week and beating Buffalo last year is proof.

The ex T B  Buc and ex KC Chief told you it's fixed.

    You're life is boring etc..

Yet when you turn on your tv, the fantastic always happens.

The time to believe in something, anything at all, is after there is sufficient evidence and justification to warrant that belief. Not before

    ##########################

Pointless contradiction. You have nothing to prove it's not fixed. Simply your denial and unbelief.

There's no such thing as burden of proof being on one side. This assumes the other side is true or right with no ability to prove it's own side.

All you have is believing in your view.

HOW LONG has this been going on for? Months? Years? Decades?

    #######################

Decades. The nfl was founded by the mafia.

    Chicago , New york, Pittsburgh.

It went from , heres an extra 50 to let your man beat you, to.. we hire you as entertainment. Winning or losing us irrelevant when you make 6, 7 digits. It's not hard.

Finally, if you believe it to be true, why are you watching these games? And how come you're not cleaning up, and winning money by legally betting on the apparently known outcome, that so many different people are privy to?

    #########################

Another pointless childish question. Do you know the ending to every movie you've never seen?

    #######################

if you believe it to be true, why are you watching these games?

    ########################

Why not? Its sports. I still like baseball cards and madden,, EA ncaa, sports uniform history, aesthetics of sports.

You can bet on pro wrestling too ,ya know

Green Bay didn't score a touchdown when they did... and that's proof?

No, that's not in any way "proof." It's not hard to understand how the refs might have gotten that call wrong. Heck, you couldn't tell if that ball crossed the plane or not WITH the aid of all of the slow-mo replays. (Furthermore the Packers covered the spread that game anyway.)

The Titans not practicing and beating Buffalo is proof? Good grief. Who says the Titans didn't practice and even if that were true, that's not anything close to evidence.

If the sport were real, the vast majority of games would be boring? MANY games are indeed what might be described as "boring!" Heck, the winner of 6 of the 13 NFL games played last week were won by 22+ points.

Your argument is known as an Argument from Incredulity. Basically, you see a play and can't imagine how that play could come about naturally... so you say, "Fixed!"

Sorry, that's not the proper way to determine if something is true. That's also not in any way justification to believe that something is true. That's not evidence.

And yes, the burden of proof is indeed on the one making the claim.

re:  just go watch "bad sport" on netflix....is some clown bookie from boston can rig college games in freaking arizona then the NFL can determine outcomes of their games! its really easy to do......

It's irrelevant how "easy" it might be.  There's no evidence al all it's being done.

Imo the dumbest people on earth are the people who think college games are rigged

Ask any college football players if their coaches ever told them they must lose a game?

Everything on the field is recorded

There's a reason why they put more cameras years after years.

    Pride and dignity

Vegas doesnt make enough money to pay players and coaches.

There is a reason why winning teams are making more money than losing teams.

Ask any college football players if their coaches ever told them they must lose a game?

    ###############

That's your argument against it? Weak.

First off, you're assuming they'd tell you the truth?

Second, all a player needs to do is follow orders.

Be in zone and follow the play. He does and the other team scores easily.

He doesnt need to know shit. And as always, refs can take care of it.

The guys that will definitely make pros are the ones who do what they are told..good or bad.

That's how you get to be a pro.

"The Pawtucket Red Sox and the Rochester Red Wings, two teams from the Triple-A International League, played the longest game in professional baseball history. It lasted 33 innings, with 8 hours and 25 minutes of playing time."

The 2003 Arkansas vs. Kentucky football game was a college football game played on November 1, 2003 between the University of Arkansas Razorbacks and the University of Kentucky Wildcats; it tied an NCAA record for the longest football game ever played. The game included seven overtime periods.

Remember how Sean Payton got suspended?

Do you really think those players are out there killing eachothers just for fun?

Americans are not dumb and stupid.

Do you really rhink FBI is a part of these rigged games? Please

The Titans not practicing and beating Buffalo is proof? Good grief. Who says the Titans didn't practice and even if that were true, that's not anything close to evidence.

    ###########################

Another example of a complete lack of critical thought. How do you not practice for a week and blow out the other team. The league, the media said they weren't allowed to practice as a full unit

Lol if they did practice, that proves me correct even more. It means it's fake and staged and a lie.

It means you have no  idea what happens during the week.

    You're just in denial now.

    @Ed-Collins

Why do people try so hard to convince others that the nfl is not rigged? Believing it or not we’re all just trying to gain an edge to win our bets right? When I read that Tom Brady was 0-10 ats in prime time I used it to bet TB and the ml and Philly +7 up 21 in the third I thought I had given up some odds and lost the Philly bet. Thank goodness that hurt finger started acting up because a couple of interceptions later I was as happy as Vegas. I’m glad I used that bit of info in my favor. Just use what you can find and move on if it’s rigged or not.
