***NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME***
Would it make you happy if I said that the 49ers are 4-2 against the Seahawks in the Jim Harbaugh/Pete Carroll era? Obviously you are bothered by the fact that Seattle's wins the past 3 years have been those 2 big ones, which happen to be the only ones many remember, for some reason.
Keep holding on to them, you might need them to ![]()

Bottom line is Seattle set out to win home field advantage for this reason! It is now time to put up or shut up! I think this is going to be a balls to the walls game played by both teams! I will be rooting for my team but seems like + points is the right side could be a 1-3 point win by either squad
I don't think there is any doubt this is going to be a great game. ![]()

Seattle is overrated because they capitalize on teams due to horrific weather and stadium noise. Kap has already experienced these elements this season, and I fully expect him to bring his A game next week. He is as confident a kid as they come.
Niners +165 and roll it over in the Bowl

Seattle can barely score against tough defenses. Look at their offensive output vs Arizona a few weeks ago (10 points). Look at their output vs the Saints yesterday. Gifted 7 easy points after a Mark Ingram fumble in their own red zone, and only put up 16 points for the majority of the game (with a garbage time TD at the end). Their offense is pedestrian at best. They couldn't sniff the redone yesterday without some fumble luck. If you covered up the team names and logos in the boxscore, you would have thought the Saints won by 10 points.

MathGuy81 - Great post and totally agree about the Saints game yesterday. For someone to say Seattle "shut down" the Saints offense is downright laughable. Like you posted, cover up the team names and the Saints outplayed the Seahawks. People seem to remember the crowd and points only.
Seattle's offense better improve significantly in the next 6 days if they want to advance.

I can tell you unequivocally right now, that if Seattle wins the game I will tip my hat to them and say they earned it.
Personally, as a SF fan, the Super Bowl wouldn't feel validated unless the team won in Seattle to do it. Not much anyone can say; most notably Seahawk fans if that happens.

So to recap:
- Hawks dominated Saints and let them score
- Saints have a better offense than SF
- Hawks will beat the Niners by at least 10
Noted ![]()
I am guessing New Orleans has a better defense than SF too? I hope they do; otherwise, Seattle's best chance to score might be on defense (again).

Seattle secondary> Kaepernick BIGTIME. This defense IN SEATTLE is so in Kaep's head, huge mental hurdle that he has yet to handle; he simply needs to play better.
