I'm with ya PTB i think the problem is a lot of these posters haven't seen the Lions play.  Those two huge comeback wins in the last two weeks will have given them plenty of confidence  and the fact that they have a shit load of talent on both sides of the ball and like i said even more on defense when Fairley puts the pads on should make them at least a 12-4 team but time will only tell.  I love watching them play they are quick and aggressive.

Lions are 12-4 IMO they will be a tuff out @ home and have shown so far they can win on the road.

I don't know about fear them but they will pay a lot more attention to them as this season wears on.

I was talking more about the talent on their team than their record since the season started. Starting off 4-0 is impressive but they could easily be 2-2,they will not win their next 3 home games,I wouldn't be surprised at all if the lost 2 of them. The Falcons are a better team then the Lions and once the season plays out you will see the flaws in Detroit...I am not a Lions hater at all,I actually hope they do well but I think they are still a year or 2 away from being legit

it sounds like a lot of people are going to lose money on detroit this season.  here's the most important stat for me.  they are second to last in the league in yards/carry.  and they are in the bottom half of the league in rushing defense giving up 4.8 yards/carry.  that wil come back to bite them and cost them covers and games this season.  

They have got so many offensive weapons and once again Calvin Johnson is a pure beast two touchdowns in each of his first four games who the hell needs a running game.  And defense boy i can't wait till Fairley puts the pads on you won't believe this guy he will put fear in some QB's.  Suh and Fairley watch out its going to hurt.

P.S.  J Best can get the running game going so they can at least use some play action.

Name one other team in the NFL that has won 8 straight regular season games and beat the defending Super Bowl Champs 7-3 in the process and covered 7 of those 8 ATS.    I don't know 7-3 against the Champs is not bad defense and they have gotten a lot better.  And that 7-3 game was a game the Pack had to win to stay in contention for the north title.  And we used a third string QB.

imo, they'll smash the Bears, have an ugly low scoring let down win vs Niners, pick it up again vs ATL, then be challenged to win against a team that means nothing to them motivationally (1st road game "in forever" right before a bye).
