you just saw why peyton is a great coach and so many are shitty...he spiked the ball instead of taking a timeout on first down.....which set up the run play and saved timeouts. such little things that are a night and day difference from the avg coach. most would have used a timeout on first down and that probably would have resulted in a fg.

To be fair, when you throw as many times as the Saints do. It's bound to happen sooner or later. You've got to take the good with the bad.
