This is like going to a bar every night and get wasted and asking the usuals how to stop drinking.  Your confusing two things one is betting and the other is money. DONT bet what you dont have have ...its that simple.  Go up the block or to work and get the $5 pool and then wow you gambled and you only spent five bucks.... who the hell knows....  Want advise have 2 shots and a six pack and watch Dr. Phil..... you will be cured in no time !!!!

You said the key words "money management". If you don't have it, you probably shouldn't be betting.

MONEY MANAGEMENT, the most I've ever lost in a weekend is $100.
 
Rule #1 - Don't bet more than you can afford to lose.
 
I'm a student, so I don't have much to bet with, but I play pure parlay cards, and havent had a losing season yet. low risk high reward. If I was balling and had a lot to risk, then maybe I'd change my system. but this way, even if I bomb all my picks I lose what 100 buck...not gonna kill me in the long run but if I win one weekend I make up for 5.

Thanks for all your inputs. When I started losing, I chased like hell, feeling money like paper, absolutely no control at all. I couldn't sleep last night because I owe him alot of money. I couldn't afford to pay them all, what they want me to do? only settle payments is the best option for me. Gamble is like that, when somebody in a deep hole, and have no money to pay, then only give them some time to pay and stop them from playing. That's alI I can say

you can win in sports betting but stick to this RULE:
Do not bet more than 5 games in a week and only betting on one Sport.
Equal units for every pick.
Start with 1/10 of your bank roll and increase by 1/10 ONLY if you win.
DO NOT PLAY CASIONO games with your winning money (I learned this the hard way), I lost all mysport winning plsu my own money to the CASINO games before .

Don't chase.  Use good money management.  If you get way behind, quit for a while.  I had to quit for 7 years once.  Now I just play what I can afford to lose.  You get the rush but not the stomach cramps you get with a big loss.  Take it easy.  Get your debt to the bookie taken care of, pay him $200-300 a week if you have to.  Do not play a single game until your debts are paid, including your credit cards.  Good luck.

Pro Sports listen to these people, they understand and know what there talking about. It's a sickness bro... The first step is to realize you have it. Not everyone has it as bad, one person quoted they only play certain games not play the game just b/c your watching it on TV. it's tough for me as well. If you must feed the monster than get yourself out of debt and live to fight another day. When that day comes , play 50 units, only increase if you win, and so on! Been there to bro and it's an aweful feelin...  Been doing for 7 years and just not figuring it out.

Thanks for advice bro, I will try to take care my bookie with payments, hope he will allow me do this option.

And for those who bashed me for starting this thread that complained about gamble or given people advices that they are wrong, no, you are absolutely wrong. I just wanted to share all the problems that happened to me when I gamble, and hope people in here learn from what I had done this and that. Seriously, I am tired of losing money to bookies.

honestly the only way to gamble is to pick winning teams when gamble and then you dont have to worry about paying off your bookie when you gamble but if you enjoy gamble just figure out a better way of gamble and you will be ok
