Just quit till u clear all ur shit up. Money management is hard to master as i am struggling with it too. Keep ur head up things will get better.

you should call it quits for awhile, regroup rethink and rebuild.  When you get your money back on track start slow, control your greed learn to let go when your down STOP beting and continue next week.  Once your down, anger/desperation takes over and slams you right to the ground.  Its a hard lesson learn bro but this will help you in the long run cause you know that you can no longer be fearless, instead you'll be smarter.  GL

For all you guys that are burying this guy I'm thinking maybe gambling hardened you enuf to show no compassion, especially this time of year. Yes I agree it's time for him to stop betting, not decrease, increase bets or anything other then STOP MY FRIEND AND THERE IS HELP OUT THERE,GO GET IT AND I WISH YOU A TON OF LUCK, IT AIN'T EASY BUT YOU CAN DO IT.

ProSportsgamble:  I can sympathize with you as I have hit some very bad moments over the past 30 years, especially in my younger days. Most of the posters in here have had some very dark days whether they admit it or not. 
I will tell you that you can and will recover.
Advice for now: take a break from gambling, deal with your current problem and work out a plan with your guy.  Once you have a plan in place and a solution to your current problem, you'll begin feeling better.
If you must still gamble for the excitment, try very limited action or football pools. I have done that after a hard hit just to let myself regroup, emotionally and financially, and still have some interest.  When you're in a better position to resume gambling, take a hard look at what you are truly able to afford when gambling and learn better money management.
The problem is not in losing $10K as you are likely to lose thousands more than that over the next few years but not take it seriously because it is over a long period of time... the problem is you lost it all at once and that hurts.
Hopefully, it will create a wake up call for you. Losing 10K now and stopping is better than losing 30K more slowly over the next 3-4 years... this experience may actually be saving you from $20,000 or more in future losses! Always look on the brightest side possible!!
 
For now, it sucks but it's not the end of the world.  GL

the only way to straight'n shit out is to hit rock bottom get on the payment plan and learn from this hard ass lesson. its happened to me and its not easy or fun. when u get your finances worked out in about a year or so wich it took me and you choose to play again DONT bet with a book cause thats what sinks the ship, if you play with an account u get a cleaner line and u cant bet more than u have so there is no "i cant believe i didnt even win one of those games " day., and when the account is dry suck it up until u save more cash to play but at least u wont have anything hangn over your head.

its a warzone out here,  just keep fighting the never ending battle until you win or lose at lease you can say you gave it everything you got. when everything is lost just go to the strip bar and play with some bitches and then overdose on coke or meth.
