Bigdaddy: Thank You, you're right i'm the one that has to pay the bookie, so it's up to me what I choose to do.. I think I now realize my problem last year was chasing and not managing my bet amounts correctly..It's hard though, I suppose it requires a lot of will power and discipline, especially when you have an opinion on games as a fan..
Are you someone who personally watches the games or do you bet and just find out the outcome the next day? I'm also curious what your betting pattern is on Sundays through out the day as compared to mine from last year.
There's a lot at stake here and I appreciate the input.. I think I feel my will power increases already

Honesty really is the best policy
Well I personally try to watch the games or at least the scores throughout the day. Living in Hawaii makes it harder for us being that on Saturday's some games start at 5:30am or 6:00am Hawaii time. This is how I normally place my investments and I'm not saying it's the right way but it's how do it.
1) I normally post my picks on the thread during football season. I only wager on football nothing else.
2) I try to find a good early morning game to start my day for Saturday. I make my adjustments on my wagers pending on how the day is going. If i'm doing really bad then I start to narrow down my late games to only the ones that I feel strongly about. Vice versa if i'm up in the morning then I basically invest on all of my picks.
3) I rarely play parlays and I love 1st half plays. The reason I love 1st half plays other than the stats I keep for them is that it gives me time to make wager adjustments on the later games as oppose to waiting for the final outcome that might run into another game. This really helps me keep control of my wagers but don't get me wrong I do play final & totals as well.
4) As far as Sunday goes I normally do it the same as my Saturday's. Wager on games in the morning and adjust to the afternoon games & Sunday night.
5) Do not let others change your mind on your pick. In the end right or wrong let it be your own decision and live with the outcome you'll feel better about it.
6) Discipline, discipline, discipline, and discipline. I myself still have yet to master the art of discipline.
Covers is a site with a lot of useful info and members. Use them as a guide to your capping. I am certainly far away from being a good capper but the sources in here makes my capping a lot easier.
There is a lot more to capping than what I listed but I hope that helps answer some of your questions.
Good luck this season may it be a very profitable one for you and everyone else.
Aloha and good luck to all
