True, but there is a difference when a young QB goes out, controls the game, DOESN'T TURN THE BALL OVER, and then leads a 4th quarter comeback.

Compared to, say going 6-19, throwing 3 interceptions and then having Patrick Peterson return a punt for a TD.

I know you are arguing just for the sake of trying to shove my comments back in my face. However if you give Tebow Larry Fitz and Beanie Wells it would do wonders for him.

Tebow is definitely better then Skeleton however that isn't saying much. Both guys rely on special magic and plays from people outside their own O on some occasions.

What's the difference between Peterson returning a punt for a TD and the Broncos' defense intercepting a ball and returning THAT for a TD?

He instills no confidence in his teammates?

He is just plain awful in the clutch?

    He’s "got no" spirit?

    He’s just weak mentally?

Congratuations.  64 pages with almost 1,600 posts and that might have been the dumbest one yet.

Dude...It's called sarcasm. Get a grip man, you're out of control. I was supporting your argument.

My apologies then.  Since the Pats game the haters have been coming out of the woodwork and some of them have been saying things that weren’t far off from that.

Well, I've had to live with Curtis Painter most of the year, so Tebow seems like a Hall of Famer to me. He may not be the only reason Denver has been winning, but without him they were horrible. I hardly think he sucks just because he's unconventional.

    Just curious guys:

Would you rather have a QB with a completion percentage of 50% and a TD:INT ratio of 5:1 or a QB with a completion percentage of 60% who threw just as many picks as TDs?

    Just curious guys:

Would you rather have a QB with a completion percentage of 50% and a TD:INT ratio of 5:1 or a QB with a completion percentage of 60% who threw just as many picks as TDs?

Whoever will win you less games so you can get a better QB in the draft.

Nope.  It was just a hypothetical question.

Also Skelton has a completion percentage of 55% and has thrown more picks than TDs.

I’ll take that to mean you can’t.  Talking out of your ass again I see. Shocking.

What’s priceless is your “the Broncos won because Brady didn't get another rushing td” nonsense combined with your thinking there are football leagues that don’t exist.

    Now that was funny.

Giligan and I are on the same side here. Where does a hypothetical question come into play with the current topic of Tebow and Skelton with stats that look eerily similar with both QBs starting in the NFL for the first time in their careers?

While you don't "say it"...anyone who reads that knows what you were implying.

It’s about the importance of completion percentage vs. the importance of TD:INT ratio.  That, obviously, is not exclusive to just Tebow.

I am a huge SEC football fan and, according to some here on the college board, one of the biggest SEC homers on this site.  Even an average SEC fan knows when Tebow left Florida.

Well...we both agree on SEC. I laugh when anyone says they're overrated and get too much respect.

They're NOT overrated and probably don't get ENOUGH respect.
