Tebow plays in knowing he is givin God's Blessing.
This is giving him calm serenity to focus on the game and this confidence is infectious to his teammates. this calm is in direct contrast to the opponents unknown wild emotions. Remember " The meek shall inherit the earth". being blessed gives Tebow the IT. and his teammates gravitate to him,,,,,, Denver will take down the mighty Packers in the end. I too have been told that " its taken care of"

It kind of sucks being on the Tebow train from the beginning and now all of America and the media has jumped on recently.

I'm betting on the Broncos, and wish nothing but the best for Tebow, however I wouldn't hate if the Pats stomped them this week.

Tebow is the man, but he isn't good enough yet to warrant this type of hype/media coverage.

I don't like Tebow, because he is a joke as a QB - in that game vs the Raiders they won, he had 2!!!!!!!!completed passes. How is this a good QB? And someone here said that he had 11/2 TD/int ratio - well he throws when in the endzone and tries not to fuck it up, if he throws it 40 times a game he will have interceptions, but he is just one overpraised rushing back, nothing more. And some people comparing him with Brady, Rogers or Drew Brees? What are you - insane? Look at his wins, FGs, overtime FGs, fumbles on the other team, whatever - this is not a good QB and Denver are an awful team. They have been on the lucky train for 5 games now (or is it 6) but this thing will eventually stop and the faith will take its toll back, I am guessing 3 consecutive losses for Tebow and the Broncos and they will watch the postseason on TV, as the rest of us. It all starts with a huge blowout by the Patriots this week - Brady, Welker and Gronkowski - they are not the Cutler-less and Forte-less chicago, they are not the Chargers without the half of their offense and Rivers doesn't know where he is, this is not the Jets with that clown Sanchez, who can fuck up every single game and this is not KC Chiefs, a team that can't score more than 10 points a game. So all of his wins - they don't mean a fuck! Yes, they are wins, but I will be impressed if at least one of these teams was Saints, Falcons, Ravens, Steelers or Patriots. Beating shitty teams because of luck means nothing... I see many people here who like Tebow (maybe Lindsey Vonn is one of them) - I don't care what he is as a person, he might be a freakin' saint, I don't care. I don't care what he was in high school or at the university - all I am saying is that he is no good QB. I mean look at Cam Newton - he is one hell of a QB and he will become on the greatest in the game! Dalton - not bad either, Ponder - way better than Tebow, but all eyes are on that kid, because he won a few games due to a devilish luck. Look at Cam Newton's stats, and look at this clown stats...And the one is 4-9, because he played all the strong teams in the league and the other is 8-5 because he played shitty teams and good teams, that were missing their best players. That's what I am going to say

What scares me about this game from a Broncos viewpoint is that Dawkins and Goodman in their secondary might be out.

I will be taking the Patriots in the first half as Brady will be looking to demolish them early on. Lots of question marks though still.

Will Von Miller and Elvis be able to put pressure on Brady? Will the Broncos dbs bump the Pats receivers at the line or give cushions (the kiss of death).

Time of possession will be key for Denver as the best defense against Brady is the Broncos offense burning the clock. Also much is made of the Denver defense but what helps them keep fresh is resting them with time of possession advantage from their offense.

If you look at stats, the Denver defense ranks 19th overall and 22nd in allowing points so they are not the 85 bears or the 70s steelers by a long shot.

It is a game that New England needs in their playoff run to secure a week off as one of the two top seeds in the AFC. Should be fun to watch.

IMO Tim Tebow is the most exciting player in the NFL since Doug Flutie. His ability to be calm under pressure... late in the game and produce wins is incredible. In the NFL winning is what it is all about and not personal glory. He is humble and self effacing and always gives credit to his teammates.

In the main, the media has been crucifying Tebow until now though he still has his detractors (see above).

According to Jimmy Johnson who knows more than a little bit about football, he has never seen anyone who elevates the play around him more than Tim Tebow. Mike Ditka was almost speechless after the overtime win over the Bears.

Tebow is a winner but the one criticism I have of him is that he is a better person than he is a player and he is one hell of a player.

Do you guys realize Tebow is averaging about 2 ppg less than Orton?  It gets worse than that if you take away all the points that can be directly attributed to the defense.

Meaningless statistic. The Broncos offensive approach will by its very nature produce a lot (not always) of low scoring games. By burning the clock and controling time of possession and wearing down the opposing defense they will create situations where a last minute score will win the games.

Again, the only stat that counts is wins and losses, get it???? I prefer Tebow over other young qbs with big stats because he wins games not glamor points.

GREAT football player are you friggin serious

Like I said hes an average player/QB on a good run in the last 6 games.
Look at post 1119.  "will not continue against any good teams."  Not putting words in your mouth.  But you have your foot halfway down to your stones.  No player in  NFL history has done what this guy is doing.  I think that makes him a great football player. Anyone who knows even a little about the game can see he is a great player.

LMAO Whitsnake. You claim Tebow and the broncos suck because they only beat could teams. Well...

Why don't you take a look at this Pats team. Their two best wins this year are against the Cowboys and Raiders. LOOK OUT.

The two best teams they played, the Giants and the Steelers, they lost.

They also allowed 27 to the SKINS, 34 to the BILLS, and 24 to the colts.

Tebow and the Broncos will put up 24 +. easily

There you go again... every win is a quality win because it is a team sport. When Tebow contributes to winning the game then it is a victory for everyone involved and make no mistake when the game is on the line... Tebow is mightily involved.

I suppose you would prefer that Tebow would have Cam Newton numbers and a 4-9 record? Then Tebow would garner your respect.

    Sparky,

Myself and others have been stressing to you and others throughout this entire thread almost the exact same point, that you just made in this post.

But, what we all have been trying to get you and others to see, is that it isn't a huge deal that Tebow isn't a great passer.

Yes, he might digress in his ability to pass, but he might improve at it? Only time will tell.

But, again as history proves that a QB doesn't have to be a great passer in order to be a successful QB in the NFL.

There are so many different tangibles and aspects that a comes with being a QB.

And in order to be a good QB, being a good passer is just 1 of them.

Tebow possesses many of the qualities that a QB needs in order to be successful at the QB position.

And just because he isn't a good passer at this point in his career, doesn't mean that he "sucks" nor does it mean that he can't be successful at the position.

If you take a good hard look throughout the NFL's history of great and good QB's, history PROVES that one can be a good to great QB, win Superbowl's, as well as be elected to the NFL Hall of Fame, even if one struggles at his ability to throw the ball.

You said in this post..I will be impressed if at least one of these teams that Tebow could beat was Saints, Falcons, Ravens, Steelers or Patriots.

So, then you must be HIGHLY IMPRESSED with the ST.LOUIS RAMS and AJ FEELEY (beat the Saints).

HIGHLY IMPRESSED with JACKSONVILLE and BLAINE GABBERT (beat the Ravens).

HIGHLY IMPRESSED with SEATTLE and TARVARIS JACKSON (beat the Ravens).

HIGHLY IMPRESSED with TAMPA BAY and JOSH FREEMAN (beat both the Saints & Atlanta).

HIGHLY IMPRESSED with TENNESSEE and MATT HASSELBECK (beat the Ravens).

HIGHLY IMPRESSED with BUFFALO and RYAN FITZPATRICK (beat the Patriots).
