The Broncos and Tebow deserve heightened coverage because the endings to these games are great drama and incredibly exciting to watch.

Even his detractors (Tom Jackson) among them are left speechless. Tebow is a humble, charming, and self effacing guy who knows how to lead and his team has mucho respect for him as a leader of men.

He brings out the best in everyone. Those who cannot see any of this are dead inside. Nothing within, nothing without as Hermann Hesse used to say.

    Sweet breaks!!!

    Hey Wake,

Breaks I would talk about are forte not staying in bounds (ending or giving no chance to win), hitting a 59 and 51 yarder, Forte fumbling in OT, etc. The D continues to amaze and Prater kicker amazing FG's yet it is tebow again? Get outta here already with this crap. Start giving credit where it is due. I was on broncos can can at least admit if I hit the spread it was because Prater/D and had very little to do with Tebow. The fact you guys even argue that Tebow is the biggest reason is hilarious. 0 Respect to where it should be placed. I can say I enjoy these late comebacks because at the end of the day it is a miraclous streak and the NFL has never seen such of it. An offense that is so awful yet continues to win? Score no PTS all game and somehow you get miracles at the end? You have to love it and laugh at it.

Yeah he sucks for 55 minutes and every team they play sucks in the last 5 minutes of the game. I suspect people are rubbed the wrong way by his religious statements. If he was a rapper who spouted f- notes every other word he would be the coolest thing since ice-T. The dude wins games...when that is no longer the case you can rip him a new a-hole. For now, there is not alot you can say except the Broncos won another game.

Score no PTS all game and somehow you get miracles at the end? You have to love it and laugh at it.

Haha can't believe I said Forte! Gotta love mondays lol

Power Player-You're right! All you can say right now is Denver is winning games. That's all that matters in the end and I certainly give Tebow credit for not melting at the end and getting it done. But again, you just can't keep getting this lucky because it is becoming comical!

Read this stat last night on ESPN, going into the night game.

"Since Week 7, the week Tim Tebow became the Broncos starting QB this season, Tebow leads all NFL quarterbacks in total yards in the fourth quarter. He also leads QBs in total yards in the fourth quarter and OT. "

That is not a fluke, has to have some talent at the position to lead that category for a stretch like that.  I dont know what it is, watching the game it seems as if the Broncos call such a conservative game for the first 3 quarters and just want to keep it close, then in the 4th they open up the playbook and actually let Tebow create more and put the ball in the air.

His stats yesterday 21/40 with about 6 drops really should silence some critics, sure he does not throw the perfect spiral, but he somehow gets it there.  And watching some of the other games yesterday I would rather have him as my QB then a bunch of other scrubs in this league.

I live in the Jacksonville area.  St. Augustine, home of Timmy in particular.  The people here are ridiculous with this "hometown boy makes good" crap!  This is what I wrote to my uncle this morning when he wrote to me about TT:  One would think you would be more excited about your favorite team than one player on an opponent's team.  MJD scored 4 touchdowns and your Jags scored more than twice their point total per game yesterday!  You have fallen into the media hype for a game manager whose defense keeps the team around long enough to remain competitive.  Hey, it worked for Trent Dilfer too!  If you want to give credit to an individual associated with the Denver Broncos organization, it should go to the offensive coordinator who knows to limit the play selection to your guy's limited skill set.  His QB rating is even lower than the QB rating for the QB for my lowly Dolphins.  He does not complete even half of his passes!  Yes, the onus is on the opposing defenses to game plan for a running quarterback, so the box is stacked to stop the run and given the ability his WRs have for the breakaway TD, one-on-one matchups have proven problematic late in games.  But the hype heaped on him is over the top.  As I stated earlier, Trent Dilfer did the same thing, only without the cult following.  I do hope this is our final discussion about this.  I am not the only football purist that refuses to embrace the glorified game manager.

Maybe he does suck but he's winning people money! I wish I had bet the moneyline on every game since he was named starter. I would have thousands of dollars right now.

And Urlacher says he is a pretty good RB.

Yet, that pretty good RB played the QB position and just beat your team Brian.

Better yet beat 6 other NFL teams too!

    Not bad for a RB...

Lol Minion. There were 3 FGs attempted over 50 yards in that game, all 3 were made. Sorry if I don't consider this a 'break'

The Broncos had a blocked 28 yard FG, a TD pass dropped and countless dropped passes. Funny that you overlook this because it would hurt your point.

Was it an ugly win vs a good defense? Yes.

    Was it a Win though - Yes..TEBOW!

Come on wake, a 59 yarder is a break. Not often those happen. As much as I can say the fg's were breaks you say dropped balls were. the BIGGEST break of them all was barber going out of bounds. GAME OVER, instead he gave you the game. Not once but TWICE with the other fumble. Tebow has STILL not shown us a good performance on O where they put up yards all game and sustain drives. Don't have to be scoring drives but atleast move the ball effectively.
The O still looks awful! It's great he is winning games but you can't keep winning this ugly it just won't last. One of two things happen like I've said all along...
    1. Tebow gets better and they start resembling an O that sustains drives and yards or...
    2. They come back to life and actually get results of what they should be with this anemic offense.

Also Minion, when you are down 3 with less than 2 minutes left, just to give your Field goal kicker a shot at a 59 yard FG is good enough.

Thats the QBs only job is to put his team in a position where they have a chance to send it to overtime.

Did Tebow do this? You better believe he did

Robbie Gould made a 57 yarder, was that a break for Tebow?

True wake, the offence was okay vs the vikings and i mean OKAY. Tebow had 13 yards passing at the half. The only score was the Defensive touch and D should have been down 12-0 not 12-7. The only reason they got to OKAY was the great second half saved a miserable first so there you have an OKAY performance. If they can't put together drives against this awful pats D I don't see them ever doing it this year!
