All Tebow can do is beat the team in front of him, not his fault guys are on the sideline.

Maybe if Forte and Cutler were playing, the WRs dont drop so many passes and Broncos score more points.

And call me a homer all you want...but can someone tell me why Tebow is getting more airtime on ESPN right now than what we just saw on Sunday Night Football?

because everyone cares about Tim Tebow, and only NFC east fans care about a mediocre division with no real contender

I never had a problem with this guy until the media starting blowing him up. Obviously it's not his fault...but it's annoying to me. He had a Sportcenter Top 10 list this week. His #2 play was that scramble he had against the Vikings where he dumped it off avoiding one guy trying to sack him and his #1 play was that TD he had against the Jets.

SportsNation ran a segment about "Tebow's Most Awesomest Moments" where they had his top 5 plays.

How does he have top plays? His best plays are things most QBs do on a weekly basis.

He also had a special on ESPN this week and, I don't watch it, but I heard he's just about all the downs on "1st and 10" nowadays.

It's just he doesn't deserve all this credit. He'll headline everything tomorrow when the real people who should be headling this NFL Sunday are Eli Manning and T.J. Yates.

It's not hate...it's me being annoyed by all of this shit. It's the reason why I avoid ESPN at all costs unless there's nothing else on.

Come on man. Cutler and Forte, before they both went down, were 100% of that offense. I know you "can't live with if's"...but lets live in reality and say that I'm probably right about this one. That's why they were on my initial list of teams the Broncos probably won't beat. Then 2 major injuries and they're fucked.

You'd think after 62,000 posts on these forums, and all the reading that went along with it, that that person would have at least a clue about sports.

Sparky, you obviously know nothing about sports if you still to this day think Tim Tebow sucks. He by no means is a great quarterback, but he's breaking the mold as to what a quarterback can do to be successful. Tim Tebow to this point in his career has been successful, and you need to let go of your biases and just watch what he does on the field in the clutch. It really is amazing.

Personally, I kind of think the whole Tim Tebow persona is fake. But it's whatever.

Tim Tebow taught me a very important lesson about sports, and even life during his time so far in the NFL. But to keep it sports related, he's shown me that the Quarterback position is much more than the person who passes the ball.

The quarterback is supposed to be the leader of the team, first and foremost. It is the position that has the most dictation as to how the team plays as a whole. That's an unimaginable weight on your shoulders to carry throughout the game, and while he isn't spectacular, he carries the burden well, and doesn't do anything to negatively affect his team.

You'd think after 62,000 posts on these forums, and all the reading that went along with it, that that person would have at least a clue about sports.

I regret not placing a live-game wager every time the Bronco's are down LATE in the 4th quarter and the ball is about to be placed in Tebow's hands after the commercial break.

Well done Tebow. Please win the Division.

That's why they were on my initial list of teams the Broncos probably won't beat. Then 2 major injuries and they're fucked.

I gotta jump in here. I like the Tebow story, cuz I'm a sucker for underdog stories, so I'll preface it with that.

However, I do agree that Tebow can only beat the team that he is facing. His play is dictated by the flow of the game. The Minnesota game was a good example. In a high scoring game, he aired it out much more because he needed to, or Denver woulda been left in the dust by Percy Harvin.

When it came down to the last 5 minutes, Tebow abandoned the read option and threw exclusively from shotgun. IMO, they shoulda abandoned the read option much earlier in that game, because they weren't running on the bears defense.

If Cutler and Orton were putting up 3 TD's in the game, it would have been played differently. Tebow probably starts throwing late in the second quarter or at latest in the 3rd quarter.

If a team is winning by 30 in the first half, do you fault them when they don't do shit but run the ball and punt in the second half? The situation in the game dictates what needs to be done, and Tebow does what needs to be done to win.

    The end.

I agree Sparky, if Cutler and Forte player the bears obviously had a better chance to win, however its all about gameplan.

I'm sure much more conservative play calling was called KNOWING those guys werent playing.

What about if the Broncos had Moreno, they would be a more effective team.

Bottom line, Tebow faced a Great defense and does what he always does. WIN

The Broncos will win the division if they can take care of business in the games they should win. I don't expect Tebow to win the game vs. New England, but I believe they can give them a run for their money.

For XXXX sake, they let Rex Grossman and the redskins throw all over them today, and the redskins are TERRIBLE. I don't think they'll win, but a valiant effort is all that's needed to keep the Tebow hype alive.

The game AT buffalo will be a tough one. The Kansas City game to end the season should be a win, but you never know of course.

San Diego will probably do what they do in December and win out, so 10 wins will be the magic number.

But the thing that is even more important than that, is that the whole team has someone to look to when their backs are against the wall. Are you telling me that Champ Bailey, DJ Williams, Willis McGahee, and other experienced veterans are going to look to Kyle Orton when the chips are down? Are you kidding me?

Sparky took the words from my mouth...way too much love. You'd think NFL Network, the only educated NFL people, would tone it down on the Tebow coverage but holy fuckkkkkkkkkkkk
