If you people could read what I said ... I know rivers played like shit .. but why give KC a chance to win with 3 min left and not even try for a touchdown... the QB is not the whole team .. even though he did play bad SD could have won at the end if they had a good coach

KC is out of time out. They just need to protect the ball, run out the clock, then kick the damn FG as time expired.

KC would have no time to play for anything

That's a bit harsh.
I'll be sending Phillip Rivers a X-Mas card this year, lol.
After all, he led SD back from a 10 pt half time deficit to win my 2nd 1/2 SD -4 -115 bet, AND he single-handedly also turned my KC ML bet for the game from a sure loser into an eventual winner. Also, my KC +3 was going to be a tie and also wound up winning.

it s a fact--- some players can t go from college football to the nfl and some coaches can t go from the collage to the nfl-----norm turner is a collage football coach and that gentlemen is the problem with the chargers.

You're right, sorry if I came off like a smart ass.  That's obviously the correct call at that time.  I think with 4 minutes to go, though, and the way the game had been played, that play calling got a little too conservative.  It wouldn't have hurt to be up a TD and put the ball back in KC's hands the way SD's D had been containing them most of the half.

There are some idiots in this thread that have no clue what football is. Norv Turner managed the HELL out of that final 5 minutes. Put his team in position to kick a CHIP SHOT FG. That fumbled snap was going to be the last play because Im sure they would of kicked it on 3rd down with about 6-8 seconds left to ensure no bobbled snap.

But the 1 thing I will criticize was they should of gotten into victory formation with the 2 backs up to ensure the snap and a deep safety back. Maybe the RB would of gotten the botched snap. Have no clue why you would consider running a play at all.
