Are the San Fran 49ers A Huge Public Favorite?

One of my sources is showing San Fran with 78% of the money so far...just wondering if anyone has an inkling of what side the money is on in this one.
Might there be a ton of weekend Dallas money still out there? Any thoughts would be appreciated... 

Any Vegas ticket-writers out there?  I know there are bookmakers on this site.

 A team can be both a dog and a huge public favorite. 

You must mean not as a betting favorite in regard to the  odds but the side that the "public: likes in the game

 I'm currently looking at 53% and 63% on the two I put any amount of stock in.  Surprisingly they are not showing them taking more action on the ML.  This site is showing an even split as far as "picks" go.  "Temperature of the room" definitely feels like much more SF love imo.

I would guess the money will pour in on DAL tomorrow and Sat. Think about it - this is the first NFL playoffs that betting is legal for millions of squares.  A lot of them collect a paycheck on Friday.  They will spend 10 seconds capping the game.  In their mind, "America's Team" Dallas is 12-5, at home, giving up just 3 points, against a 10-7 SF team that barely squeaked into the playoffs.  For a lot of squares, DAL is a no-brainer play.  Don't get it twisted - I'm not saying DAL is the wrong play.  I'll be staying away from this game altogether.

Just checked actionnetwork.com, 59% of bets on SF and 80% of the money. The spread.com also showing 59/41, SF pct of bets. I do believe we'll see alot of Cowboy money coming in over the weekend. Agree with Bluecompass in that respect.

Cowboys were in the drivers seat for the 2 seed before losing to the Cardinals.  They have a 1-4 record against playoff teams outside of their sucky division Eagles, so yea I omit those.  

The way I see it the wrong team is favored or this should be a Pickem.  I dont care about this games consensus, the books take losses on the games in the playoffs some years.  This is only one play.

 I agree with the other poster. You shouldn't say "Favorite" if the team isn't favored. But everyone knows what the line is anyways. 

I also agree there's a lot of San Fran love out there. It's the shortest line out of all the games on the board, so people want to look cool and pick one upset, but it's the game that's basically a pickem. 

If I continue to see San Fran love, I'm gonna lay off the game. I was predicting Dallas to be a 6-7 pt favorite before I saw the line. It's very short IMO. I'm shocked they aren't even giving the hook. 

Colin Cowherd tweeted today that there's too many people loving the Niners this week. Prob a bad sign.

Read one word before 'favorite'...it is called a descriptive adjective...as in 'Public Favorite'...I assumed that everyone on here knew that San Fran was the dog?... Dogs can be a public favorite too. I was not stating that San Fran was the favorite...

Good chance Dallas wins here but doesnt cover. Game has dallas by 1 or 2 written all over it.

People have last week's game syndrome.

If they had just watched this team get torched on the backend vs Seattle when they blew a lead, or that lead vs Tennessee they blew, any of the games where Jimmy G has fumbled away the ball at the worst time they might be singing a different tune but that hasn't been recent enough.

Dallas has the top offense and top defense for takeaways, and basically had an exhibition game last time out while the 9ers had to come back from a huge deficit.

The Rams have always had trouble with SF. Shanahan is light years ahead of Raheem Morris. I think Dan Quinn will do better.

I also feel like after having surgery one game you might look good the 2nd game it might be tougher on that thumb.

Unlike the Rams the Cowboys have a good run game and more than one good WR. Dalton Shultz has come on the scene and this offense is really clicking. Find whoever Josh Norman is on and throw to him.

 That’s last week syndrome is why most people lose money betting sports. You can’t go by it. 

Peculiar super bowl exacta odds matchups show 49ers favored in sofi stadium over every afc team including the Chiefs should they make it that far. For example Odds are shorter for sf to beat Buffalo Tennessee or the Chiefs than they are to for any of those afc teams to beat sf assuming they actually play each other.   This is shown in two large us mobile books …. Something to consider.
