Yes, I do! If they steal a game (in SA) that the Spurs have in the bag. That would even things out (as far as giving a game away).

clippers will win game 6 and sa will win game 7. this is the only fascinating series so far, and nba will want to extend this as much as possible. we saw how clippers reacted after game 3. they will react the same. if clips get hot shooting, like doc said, they scored 107 even though 1/14 3 points, no team can match them.

This thread came to mind when I saw the clippers give away game 6..Is LA toast in game 7? After that psychological meltdown, I think so.

    The law of CSI...

It's an interesting thought for Clips/Hou game 7.

And look what it took for the Spurs to be taken out, a lob from a hip after a push off of Green...the Clips won by a spider web's thread after the Jordan goaltend...

Yup, Scal, you are 100% correct. And I've been thinking about this since last night. I'm very worried about my series bet. It should have it. Really should have. Now it all depends on the Clippers mindset, and whether they are strong enough mentally to overcome this.

If they can beat the Spurs in 7, they can beat the rockets in 7. Clips destroyed them in the third and the 4th was among the biggest playoff meltdowns I've ever seen (Equivalent to game 3 Celts Nets in 2002, which the nets, remarkably, won the series in. And that celtics team was not too far from this rockets team. But the nets that year can't compare to the power of the Clips starting 5 making just a tit for tat comparison.)

Can the bench PLEASE give the clips something?? Rivers another step up game. Crawford coming through....

And plus, if they keep Harden in and not out (and McHale wouldn't have the guts to pull him in the clutch, regardless of dividends reaped last night), that should bode well for the Clips in crunch time. If they go back to hack a jordan, you pretty much know the clips will win.

BB, if this doesn't qualify under your law, then your law is not real. It fulfills pretty much every criterium you listed on the first page. Clips are finished

Just when we think the clips have evolved as a team, they show us that they're nothing more than perennial chokers

BB. I followed your hawks/gs/clips ml parlay. Clips are done under this law bro. It wouldn't make me any happier to see clips lose by 1 point in game 7. They would possibly be the biggest chokers of all time. To have blown on hou all series, completely choke in the 4th q and lose a close game 7 would be epic. They dont drserve to win the series. I really hope hou wins this series now. Clips blew their chance.

Trey, sorry you lost. I thought if any of those teams could lose, it would be the Hawks: and it almost was. Once we got that game, I was 95% confident on the rest and once the Clippers were up by 19 I was 99.99% confident. Just goes to show you, this is a terrible hobby and even a worse way to make a living. If the refs help the Clips (and I mean really help) they might have a chance but if they get down in that game by dd (and then start thinking back on game 6), they are cooked.

As if we needed more proof:

To say that was unexpected was an understatement.

The Los Angeles Clippers looked like they were headed to the Western Conference finals for the first time, leading by 19 points late in the third quarter.

The Rockets' chances of winning the series at that point were less than 1 percent. Their chances of winning the game were, for all intents and purposes, about the same. Though the deficit got clipped to 13 points at the end of the third quarter, it still looked bleak.

It marked the 50th time that the Rockets trailed by at least 10 points entering the fourth quarter of a postseason game.

They entered the night 0-49 in those games. But sometimes long shots come through.

And the long shots that weren’t falling in the first three quarters (over which the Rockets were 7-of-36 on jumpers) did come through as the Rockets rallied to win 119-107 to even the Western Conference semifinals at three games apiece.

The Rockets closed the game on a 49-18 run (25-5 over the last 6:47). They outscored the Clippers 40-15 in the fourth quarter, and amazingly, neither James Harden nor Dwight Howard made a field goal. Harden didn’t even play in the period.

The Rockets won this game on their 3-point shooting, making 7 of 11 3-point attempts in the fourth quarter. They won on the strength of their rebounding, as they outrebounded the Clippers 24-8 in that span.

As we all know too well with the 'player out/other players step up' theory, be it star injury (primary) or star being pulled (secondary), this was all made possible by Harden's benching.

The ONLY reason Harden was benched was because McHale thought the game was pretty much over like all of us and put in some bench guys for a miracle.

This benefits the Clips in a tight spot in game 7 because McHale will not be able to pull Harden in a close game...and If Harden is Harden (5-16 from the floor and 12-12 from the line) the Clips will win if he stays on the floor.

What is Crazy is that the most effective Hacka strategy is not Hacka Jordan. It's HackaDwight.

How ironic would it be if Doc gets desperate and turns into Pop and McHale and needs to resort to a Hacka strategy to get him a win (something Doc only has employed when McHale aggressively fouled DeAndre and he couldn't even do it to Pop). It's a game 7 so everything is on the table!

Yeah, Scal, the stars aligned last night for the stars who were out (Irving for the Cavs and Harden for the Rockets) to cross my stars.

The most surprising fact for me was how the Rockets out-rebounded the Clips by 20. I don't get it. Blake and Jordan should never lose the battle to Howard. It's two on one for god's sakes. That is a very weak (imo) and shows a lack of hustle, tenacity and effort (rebounding is all about will); especially when you consider the fact that the team that has won the rebounding battle has won each of the games.

No need to be sorry BB, it was my own $ to tail. I was trying to find the cheapest way to bet Clips Dubs and ATL and you posting the parlay just pushed me over. Not your fault. Just never have seen a meltdown like that to that magnitude. Sure the Dubs coming back from 20 to pelicans was spectacular as well, but this was a closeout game. To blow this clousout gamein the fashion Clips did I really think they arent mentally strong enough to overcome it. Harden will go crazy game 7. I'm looking into the over as both teams will score a ton with the hack a whoever. But I just hope Clips lose. Think itll be worth the public humiliation. Cp3 is already known as a choker. This would solidify it forever. Clips are done. And it would be better for my dubs anyway in WCF. Easy overs I see in that series as well. GL bro

Welp, so far this unwritten rule is holding true to form at the half at least...
